- I love caramel apples. In Argentina there are vendors in every park or square, and even in the beach. We have them dipped in popcorn, so the corn sticks to the caramel coat. Yummy! Makes me want to take a walk to spot one of these vendors. We also have figs prepared in the same way, dipped in caramel and popcorn. No diet can resist!

- I found my own intimidation was tied to the idea of having caramel all over my face, as they can be tricky to bite into. However, never be afraid to cut a caramel-covered apple up with a knife and take it one slice at a time. They're lovely that way!

- What a fun lens! You might add a tip on how to cut candied apples --Just cut the apple in a grid pattern with the stick in the middle. You end up with 8 edible pieces and one piece with the core. This way you get apple and candy in every bite--plus way less mess!
