Simple and Fast Apple Crisp Recipe
This Apple Crisp recipe from Paula Deen's The Lady and Son's Too! book is one of my favorites! Its simple, easy and great for a get together, bake sale or just the family. When apple season arrives we go to the orchards, pick our own apples and then make this tasty recipe.

Apple Crisp Recipe
Mouth Watering
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the apples, water and lemon juice in a 8x8-inch baking pan. In a bowl, combine the oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour in the butter and stir to make a crumbly mixture. Spread the topping in an even layer over the apples and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the topping is crisp and browned.
Tips:
You may cook this ahead and refrigerate overnight. Then warm in the oven. Its not quite as good as same day but its still great!
Use small tins and make mini-crisps to serve individually.
Serve with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream!
