3 Sneaky Loopholes to save on Apple iPhone Insurance

Are you one of the many folk in the UK who have an expensive iPhone, but dont have Apple iPhone insurance? Statistics are hard to come by, but from my research at least 30% of people arent insured, and do you know the reason why? Because the high street providers (O2 and Orange) are charging approximately £15 VAT per month!! Thats just outrageous and represents almost half of the most common tariff. My first bit of advice for you peeps would be to completely igone the Apple iPhone insurance product offered by these high street providers. They really think they have cornered the market. But www.insureit.2u.co.uk offer a brilliant insurance product which is almost 50% off what you would pay with O2.

They are an online company, backed by Equity Redstar which is owned by the Lloyds group. Beware of cheap online companies who are just run by a dodgy online company - there are quite a few sharks out there today. These guys are trustworthy, guarantee fast delivery of a new phone, and also dont tie you in for more than a month. You can cancel at anytime. Well worth it folks! Dont settle for crappy the crappy o2 product!

Thats right peeps. In this day and age its very rare to get something for nothing from your bank. But its true that a few banks in the UK (Lloyds TSB for one) offer their premium bank account holders free Apple iPhone insurance. For some of you this may not apply, but usually its not hard to pick up some of these premium accounts - especially in this day and age. the banks will do almost anything to get your custom and cash savings.

Just to let you know though, you will have to fill out a mountain of paperwork, and the full value of the latest iPhone will probably not be covered (there is also an excess which will come out of your final balance). But still, a pretty cool little loophole which is absolutely free!

If you are a home owner, then this is a pretty cool little loophole which again save you alot of money on your iPhone insurance. Its compulsory for all home owners in the UK to have buildings insurance, and most will have contents insurance. As part of this contents insurance cover you will have whats called a 'personal belongings' category which will cover items such as jewelry, watches and you guessed it, mobile phones!

Just make sure you call them to check what your cover amount will be, as well as the excess payment when you make a claim. Another good idea would be to protect your no claims bonus which can be done for an extra few pounds per month. All in all, its a very cool little sneaky loophole which can save you a bit of cash.
