Apple Unlocker Review

It says on the Apple Unlocker website that it takes about 5 minutes to unlock and jailbreak your iPhone, however I'm not sure if I was just being a noob or if they were being a bit lenient with the truth as it took me about 20 minutes!

Now I should point out that the latest version of their software is more or less guaranteed. There is a money back guarantee however they claim that their iPhone software will work on any iPhone model (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S as well as iPad1 and iPad2) with any iOS software release. It apparently doesn't matter where in the world you are located and what type of SIM card you have, it should still work - though I have obviously not tested this claim out! I have also not tested this out on iPad either.

However on my 3G and 4S it worked without any trouble. The Apple Unlocker download is small and the install is as easy as clicking your mouse button. No technical know-how is needed.

The reason I chose this over some dodgy free software from Google was for a few reasons. Firstly, it frequently updates with free firmware releases, secondly it is totally reversible so it doesn't void your warranty like other unlock software can and lastly there is a money back guarantee. If those points are not important to you then you might be able to find a better way of unlocking and jail breaking your iPhone, however for me they were important and with that in mind 'Apple Unlocker' gets my recommendation.
