The best holiday of the year

No gifts. No guilt. No god.

Just a holiday that celebrates intellectual fun. Play hard, play fair, nobody gets hurt.

PS did you hear that American Heritage just took the word 'gullible' out of the dictionary?

April Fools?

Should April Fools Day be banned or cherished?

Ban it! I got tricked.

cwimmer77 says:

i say ban it, so obnoxious.

spinhead says:

'April' doesn't rhyme with 'Fools'?no wonder the poets are up in arms (or at least limbs . . . )

Robert Siekmann says:

A banned April Fools Day could be a trick that could go on for years...

lowendgruv says:

Poe-tree. Boo!

I'm just a sore loser.

Rachel says:

I tried to "close" my website on Geocities as an April Fool's prank once... wasn't very funny when Geocities decided to shut down my site (and GAVE AWAY ITS URL THE SAME DAY) because they decided I was under 13 when I started the site. Never mind I was 13 by the time they got around to this... And they didn't bother to TELL ANYBODY this until a week later!

Make it a national holiday!

says:

It's my birthday. No kidding! April Fools Day is my FAVORITE day!

kate the great says:

April fools day is fun! :D If anyone says otherwise that's a sure sign that they have to lighten up a bit...

Naomi-K says:

Did no one else know April Fools was a national holiday?

Bonnie says:

Cherished. It is the only holiday that celebrates pranksters for the masterful artists they truly are!

Dharma Kelleher says:

Doh! You got me good! I was halfway through writing an email when it occurred to me it was April Fools. The quote about people not valuing something they didn't pay for should have been my clue!

Well done, Seth.
