Do You Wanna Live at the Arboretum?

Arboretum is the new Austin...located in Northwest Austin where some joke the atmosphere is more like Dallas than funky, laid back old Austin. The area takes it name from the open-air campus-like shopping mall, The Arboretum, at the Southwest corner of Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Highway) and Hwy. 183 (Research Boulevard). It is an area of the city that offers abundant shopping at some of the top retail names in the country, easy access to the area's top high tech employers, a wealth of Austin restaurants and nightspots, and modern apartments and condos that offer top notch amenities.

The general vibe of the Arboretum area is young, hip and lively with restaurants, nightspots and gyms filled to capacity and as it evolves, more and more homegrown Austin businesses are being added to the area.
