Connect with Archangel Michael
This page contains some materials that could help you connect with Archangel Michael, as an imaginary being or not. It has no particular religious orientation, but rather focuses on what I've found and liked that I think will aid you in making a direct connection (or just struck me as interesting).
I am no expert on archangels by any means, but I believe that if you focus your mind on something such as an archangel you can make positive changes in your life that you might not be able to do otherwise.

Angel Medicine
The reason I see so much value in Doreen Virtue's publications is that I have gotten some of the same messages intuitively myself only to find them in her books a few months later! For instance, the Goddess Brigid and Archangel Michael made their presence known to me simultaneously, as though they were a couple. They come the same way to Ms. Virtue, apparently.

Cutting the Cords, with Archangel Michael CD (Light Meditation Series I--Angel Meditations)
I don't have this one, but I'd like to. The "cords" refer to cords of energy between people or things that some intuitives can sense. Michael has a large role as a protector and psychic bodyguard, so he's the one to call to get rid of connections you no longer want with people, places or things, etc.
