Wedding Photography
How do you choose a wedding photographer? How do you hand over the responsibility of recording a never-to-be-repeated individual day? When you look around, it can seem that every man and his dog are picking up a camera and offering to photograph the 'big day'! To be sure of a great set of images (those memories fade all too quickly), you need a experienced professional that you will feel relaxed with. You will need someone who can work quickly, unobtrusively, who will be nice (not bossy!) to your guests and can cope with the unexpected.

About us
We offer natural, contemporary and reportage photography - weddings, portraits, commercial and photo-journalism - across Scotland, rest of the UK and internationally.Archibald Photography is run by Mark Archibald and Donna Marshall. Mark is the one with the camera, a real passion for photography and the art of producing fantastic contemporary images. Donna is the one who does everything else!!
Archibald Photography...
A little about our photographer Mark.
The Archibald photographer, Mark loves photographing weddings. All the emotions are there - happiness, nervousness and tears are often shed. Great pictures of people should capture their emotions and Mark always manages to press the button at the right time!We can document the complete story of your day including all the bits you were too busy to notice or remember. We like to think we are providing a book of great photographs rather than a 'naff' wedding album which will sit under your bed!
If you hate getting your picture taken don't worry, Mark lets people be themselves, enjoy the party with their friends and family and doesn't ask people to do things that will make them feel awkward. It is very important to Mark that in 10 years time the couple can look at the pictures and remember what happened on the day without thinking they look uncomfortable. The people who book us tend to be looking for a relaxed approach to the photography. They don't want endless pictures of people standing in straight lines looking like they are waiting for the 'firing squad'. They also don't want photographs of the wedding party to take several hours - which suits Mark's fast pace of working. The Archibald Photography Blog
