Fitness Bootcamp Groups!

Yes, there are many different types of fitness bootcamps. They are classified into many groups for the suitability and convenience of the participants. You might choose the right type of bootcamp in order for you to get the most out of it and to get your money's worth. The primary focus, the schedule, the instructor, additional services and the cost are all factors to consider.

General Fitness Bootcamp

The typical bootcamp focuses on every part of the body by providing a broad range of different exercises from stretching to obstacle courses. This kind of bootcamp may also include lectures about healthy eating to accompany the physical exercises. Anyone can join this type of bootcamp, as long as you are fit enough to pass the initial evaluation. Some general fitness bootcamps are held in private places such as a gymnasium, but frequently they are conducted in public parks and open grounds.

Men's Fitness Bootcamp

Obviously, these are the kind of bootcamps exclusively for men. They generally conduct the same exercises that are done in general fitness camps with more emphasis on upper-body strength. Training instructors may be more demanding of the students; encouraging them to develop determination and strong will power.

Exercises in this kind of bootcamps are frequently closely patterned after military bootcamp training. The physical training may be more challenging than the general fitness bootcamp.

Women's Fitness Bootcamp

Of course, if there are bootcamps exclusive for men, there are also bootcamps exclusive for women. The instructors for women's fitness bootcamps are frequently also female. It works a lot like the general fitness bootcamp; the primary difference is all the students are female. Surprisingly, a large number of women's bootcamps place as much, if not more emphasis on strength training using kettlebells.

Sports Bootcamp

These are the types of bootcamps where the training process is more focused on a specific sport (examples: football fitness bootcamp, running fitness bootcamp, basketball fitness bootcamp, etc.). What the trainers or instructors challenge the students with is more focused on the physical and mental aspects needed to be improved for a specific sport. These aspects may include team work, speed, agility, stamina and muscle strength. This type of fitness bootcamp is perfect for entire sports teams.

Weight Loss Bootcamp

This type of bootcamp is clearly for the people who need to decrease their body fat and lose weight. You may see a lot of weight loss bootcamps nowadays because of the increasing number of overweight people. Their training is as challenging as any other bootcamp and the instructors tend to encourage every student to surpass their limits. Socialization and comparative challenges are integral parts of weight loss camps. In weight loss bootcamps, they frequently include instructions about food nutrition and the proper discipline of healthy eating.

And More....

Image-of-poster-for-pregnancy-fitness-bootcampThere are bootcamps focusing on senior citizens, pre and post pregnancy mothers, teenagers, late-evening class camps and health and fitness vegetarian camps. Each specialized bootcamp modifies the general fitness bootcamp workout regimen; adapting the style and type of exercises to a particular type of student. A little research and a few calls will determine if a specialized bootcamp is in your area. If not, a general fitness bootcamp is the optimum way to begin the journey to a more fit and healthier "you"!

Thanks for the wonderful advice, I never realized there were so many different types
of fitness bootcamps...What really caught my eye, is how there is one just for women. I never really felt comfortable working out in front of men. And to have a woman instructor would really be awesome. Thanks again

Great lens. I've done a couple of bootcamps over the past three years and I'm looking at doing another - an early a.m. one (not my forte!)
