Could You Live With Yourself?
Texting while driving is as bad as drinking and driving. Some studies show that it is worse. So, why are people still texting and driving? Are they not aware? Do they refuse to believe it? Why?
Think about it! If you are texting behind the wheel then you are not looking at the road. You could cause an accident. Worse... you could kill someone. Could you live with yourself if you killed someone because you texted while driving? What if you killed yourself while texting? What if someone killed someone you love while texting and driving?
Really! Think about it! Don't just know that texting and driving is wrong. Take some time to really think about it. DWT (driving while texting) accidents can be prevented so easily if everyone just waited to text.
Just put the phone down. Wait. Text later. Text when you pull over (if its urgent) or when you reach your destination. Whatever message you get on your cell phone can't be more important than paying attention to the road. It can't be more important than your life or someone else's life. So PLEASE! Take it seriously.

Put the phone down. Wait. Text later. Text when you pull over (if its urgent) or when you reach your destination. Whatever message you get on your cellphone can't be more important than paying attention to the road.
Will a little research convince you?
Take a look at this YouTube video. Notice how distracted the driver becomes when texting. Notice what happens when they drink too. This may have been just a test, but it shows just how a distracted a driver can get while distracted and driving. And right now real people are on the road who are drinking and driving or texting and driving or both. They are seriously endangering themselves. Worse they are endangering the rest of us, our families and other people we care about.
What if it was your sister?
Is texting worth the life of a loved one.
What if your sister was texting while driving and in doing so she killed herself and someone else? Can you imagine loosing someone so special and wonderful over a text message?

- DWT is illegal here in British Columbia. Some people still do it but face steep fines if caught. They catch a lot of people, though.

- I call 'em DUD's.... Driving Unsafe Distracted.... DUD's are very dangerous, silent killers, with every excuse in the world why it's okay for them to multitask while driving.
