According to the facts, there are only 100 certified avian veterinarians worldwide and you have to be fortunate to locate one who happens to be residing near your dwelling.
Do not despair if you are unable to find a doctor who is certified by the AAV, you can still consult a veterinarian based on the recommendations of other bird owners or through word of mouth.
