Explore Arizona Parks, Monuments, Trails, and Memorials
Here you'll find some of the hidden treasures of Arizona, the State Parks, and a few treasures on Squidoo, ArtbyLiinda's Grand Canyon Lenses. You'll also find pictures and videos of one of Arizona's newest State Parks, Kartchner Caverns. It's a pretty cool place to visit, even in the heat of an Arizona Summer and a great place to take your family too.
Then too, you'll discover that there's more to Arizona than sand, cactus, and sage brush. The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is a green oasis filled with plants from Australia and literally hundreds of different types of butterflies that migrate through the area.
You'll also discover some old west magic. The Tombstone Courthouse State Park video shows you what a visit to the old west can be like with the conveniences of a quaint town under the broad blue skies of Arizona.
Elsewhere in this lens you'll find a map showing where these places are, links to each of the Arizona State Parks, more links to the National Monuments and Memorials in Arizona, and yes even more, links to the National Parks in Arizona.
After you've looked around here, don't forget to visit ArtbyLinda's lenses about the Grand Canyon. It will be worth the trip.

Okay, it's not a State Park, but it is in Arizona
If you haven't been to the Grand Canyon, you're in for two treats.First, you get to review the lenses created by ArtbyLinda here on Squidoo. She's brought together wonderful pictures from her visit to the Grand Canyon and she's described what you'll find and what's worth the visit while your there.
Second, the Grand Canyon is spectacular. I've been there several times. Usually, we spend a week back-backing in the Canyon itself. It's safe to say, the Grand Canyon is two worlds, the one along the rim, the other along the canyon floor.
Take a look at ArtbyLinda's lenses. They're great even if you've visited the Grand Canyon already too. Her photos are wonderful.

- Grand Canyon is my favorite National Park in Arizona, but I thought Saguaro and Petrified Forest were interesting. Arizona is just an awesome place to vacation. Nice work!
