Web Cams of Arizona
Grand Canyon from the South Rim
Starting with the Grand Canyon, I've collected some images and links of web cams around Arizona. The best time for viewing the web cams is early morning or late evening when the shadows dominate and the rich colors of the canyon lands comes through.
The National Park Service maintains web cams at the Grand Canyon and several other national parks.

This camera is sponsored by the National Geographic Society. It is updated every 30 minutes. The photo links to the web site of the National Park Service. I like it better because it has a date and time stamp on it. I like knowing if I'm looking at a picture from today or three days ago.You can see the same image on the National Geographic web site.

Day and Night World Map
The easiest way I know to find out if the web cam I'm looking at is experiencing daytime or night time is to look at the current Night and Day Map. Click the image to see the current position of the sun and moon.
You can also see the time displayed on the World Clock.
Grand Canyon Skywalk

The famous Grand Canyon SkyWalk
You definitely will enjoy this view from the "cheap seat" of your computer. To go on the Skywalk in person you get to pay two fees. One fee to get into "Grand Canyon West" ($43.05 for adults) and another fee to go on the Skywalk ($32.05 for adults). The good news is that price includes taxes. The bad news is that you can't take any personal items with you onto the Skywalk. That includes cameras, cell phones, and strollers.Grand Canyon SkyWalk

TV Stations in Phoenix
Although a national weather reporting service can provide weather reports, I have found that local media does a much better job at predicting conditions for their viewing area. That's why I've included links to the major networks in Phoenix.

How many of the web cams did you look at?
Web cams can be tricky. It's really up to the operators to keep them running - and keep them pointing at something of interest! Was this lens helpful in finding some good web cams of Arizona?
If any of the web cam links didn't work, please let me know about it. Thanks
