Arkansas Real Estate License

The rules for obtaining a real estate license can vary a little from state to state. The preparation hours in class can vary as can the final exam requirements but for the most part the states are pretty similar. I had been a licensed agent in New York several years ago but my license has been inactive for years. Now I am going to get an Arkansas real estate license and get back in the game of selling real estate.

The requirements for certification are quite similar to what I for my license in New York. To get my Arkansas real estate license I will have to attend the required class hours, take and pass(with flying colors) the class exam, and then go on to take the state exam. From there I will need to find a brokerage that will be willing to hold my license and allow me to work selling real estate for them.

The Arkansas real estate license seems very similar to the one I previously held. I have decided to start from scratch in a new state because my old license has been inactive for years and the laws have changed. Not to mention the laws are different in different states. Getting an Arkansas real estate license will allow me to sell real estate in an area that is still growing and not as over priced as the New York City apartments that I used to sell. It only took a small number of unit sales in NYC to make some good money but with my Arkansas real estate license I will have to sell a few more homes to make the same kind of commissions.

The state of Arkansas has a lot to offer with its affordable land values and its ability to offer a lot for the money. Having an Arkansas real estate license should allow me to start a very prosperous career. The state of Arkansas has some really beautiful countryside and some terrific history. many companies are relocating to the state and that will mean more jobs and a better economy. With that in mind it just seems like a good time to get my Arkansas real estate license and get in on the ground floor of one of the next booming markets in real estate.

For the Arkansas real estate market I would like to see a slow and steady rise in property values. not the crazy ones i saw as an agent in NYC. After I get my Arkansas real estate license I will be able to decide which part of the state that I want to focus on selling. I would like to focus on areas with good schools and new construction and development.
