- I don't know if this would make onto a list of Arminian works, since it's not Protestant, but it is a book against Calvinism. It is called Reconsidering Tulip by Alexander Renault. The author is an Eastern Orthodox Christian, so he won't exactly be advancing Arminianism. You can find the book on Amazon. Do with it what ye will =]

- I did not get a message letting me know if my comment was submitted so I apologize if you get two of the same one. Can you recommend a book that is a systematic theology written by a wesleyan-arminian? I several in your list, but wonder which is the best in your opinion. I really want something at a college level/ pastoral level. Thank you.

- Hi Kristofer, I would probably recommend either "A Wesleyan - Holiness Theology" by J. Kenneth Grider or "Grace, Faith, and Holiness: A Wesleyan Systematic Theology" by H. Ray Dunning. These are some of the most recent systematic theologies. They are both one volume works.

- I say this in humility and in respect towards John Wesley (may he rest in peace), and I don't want to speak in a negative light about him, but I will just ask you this question. I was told by a Christian minister in a holiness pentecostal church organization that John Wesley did not practice what he preached and he did not experience this sanctification for himself, and he said something along the lines that he had been unfaithful to his wife. I do not mean to spread rumours. I think his point was this though: that the church leader that we had in that church organization was better because he was a practicing holiness Christian. Any thoughts on this?

- Hey Kristofer,
It is important to point out that the doctrine of "entire sanctification" is unique to the Wesleyan branch of Arminianism (and all the off shoots). There are many Arminians who do not hold to this. As far as Wesley's personal sanctification and his wife I don't really know all that much. I did hear that he had struggles in his marriage, but I don't think he was unfaithful (as in an affair).
