Fans are dying to know: Is the movie confirmed yet?

IMDB has it listed on their page HERE
And it is listed as being "in production."

And many members of the original cast have spoken about it in interviews.

So far, the people that have agreed to making the film include Mitchell Horowitz (the creator), Ron Howard (the director) and many cast members including Jason Bateman (Michael Bluth).

Recently Alia Shawkat (Maeby) let the cat out of the bag that Mitchell is working on the script.

Will Arnett (Gob) and David Cross (Tobias) both made the Entertainment Weekly's list of the 25 Funniest People in America.
Will is #8 and David is #12.
Will Arnett (Gob) is expecting a child with his wife Amy Poehler. She played his wife on Arrested Development as well.

Jason Bateman will be starring alongside Will Smith in the upcoming superhero movie "Hancock."

Portia de Rossi (Lindsay) is engaged to Ellen Degeneres and has recently been a recurring character on Nip/Tuck.

Michael Cera (George Michael) has been making a huge breakthrough into movies. He starred in "Juno" alongside Ellen Paige and Jason Bateman (Michael Bluth) and "Superbad with Jonah Hill. He has many movie project right now in the works.
