Making A Mark's Art Book Lists

There comes a point after you've started to make art when you want to find out more about how other people tackle this, how things work and how to improve your art.

The books in this section aim to help artists improve their artwork by focusing on:
* how colour works
* what makes a composition effective
* learning about art, style, art movements, artists and the language of art

It's actually quite surprising how few specialist landscape painting books there are. However there's something of an agreement between artists about which are the best ones
