    I'd add some calligraphy to it. tHis page just calls for some romantic script.

    I would give the girl wider hair:-) Trying to explain...not longer hair, but more hair LOL. I was really interested to see what art supplies you recommend. I have used the strathmore journals and they are great......but you have to check that you get the one that you want as they come in watercolor paper ( MY fav) they also come in mixed media paper and I have made the mistake.

    You have great advice on this site! I love all of the resources, I will definitely be referencing them. I just started a visual journal blog, and I love looking at ones that are more established!

    Wow those pages are amazing. I keep a little journal with me at all times for doodling and idea catching. No where near as amazing as the pages you show off here though!

    Doodling, journaling, (for me) a brisk walk ... all so effective in helping us let go, think & lessen the pain of beginning a new work of art. Great lens!

    I love it. The freedom to make marks and play with the materials. One of the things that I find with "real" art is that I am always conscious of creating something that will be accepted and liked. This sort of art should help me to loosen up and paint/draw/create for myself. thank you so much.

    A very helpful lens - and lots of great resources. Thumbs up!

    I have to disgaree about the prismacolour pencils though as they break rather too often for my liking. However artists in the USA might not have a lot of alternative options. If you want to see which pencils people think are best visit the poll on my coloured pencil lens.
