A Very Artsy Blog
One of my goals in life is to earn a living from my creative pursuits, whether they be "real" or "virtual". To chronicle this journey, I developed an art blog called Art on the Edge, which began with the intro post below:
"I am an artist at the edge. Not necessarily the cutting edge of art, mind you, although sometimes I have great flashes of inspiration... but, literally speaking, I (was at the time) located at the edge of the Grand Canyon in northwestern Arizona.
(these days I'm preparing to leave for a 5 month tour of India)
I am a bit of a dabbler, with projects in a variety of media from photography to collage/assemblage, from jewelry making based on ancient cultures & ethnic inspirations (my current main focus) to representational landscapes in acrylics!
I am in the process of developing my art into a serious business venture .
Please join me and support me in this journey!
Stay tuned for updates on projects, events, goals, triumphs, set backs, observations, etc."
Art on the Edge is currently my graphic design p-o-d project blog with references to new jewelry and WIPs.

Art Books I Recommend...
I love the great projects they showcase and the easy technique instructions.
It's also great to learn more about the creators of the work, and most of the time you can link to their blogs too! Many of them will write back if you comment on their work.

- I love your photos. My sister lived in India for ten years. I'll ask her if she saw the Amber Fort. Beautiful!

- To answer your questions, I do, and I do! Blogging is sort of an art form of its own, don't you think?

- thanks for your suggestion Mark...actually 3/4 of my posts DO contain images...the feed does not always pull them into the lens, however...
also blogger lmts the amt of space for uploading pics so you need to be careful about adding every thing you create!
that'
s why the blog also links to my flickr, etc
thanks for your visit!

- Thanks for your comments on my lens "Blogging for Artists"
Here's one of my tips for blogging art. I have a rule for my art blog - which is that every post must have an image. It just seems odd to have a blog about visual art without also having a visual image for every post. Works for me!
