Art Project: How to Fold and Cut alphabet A to Z

Are you thinking for an art project for your students?
Are you a mother who are looking for some fun activities at home for your kids?
Do you have parties at home or at work?

I enjoyed making this project by myself. I got all the materials needed such as papers and scissor. Then, fold and cut letters of the alphabet from A to Z! See pictures below with step by step instructions.

I hope that you will find each letter project easy to follow. Can you guess how much time I spent to complete this project? For every steps I took pictures and each letters has an average of 8 steps multiply it by 26 letters = 208 steps in all! Then, I uploaded it to my computer and to Squidoo gallery but since this photo gallery does not accept more than 1,000 kb, I need to edit each picture size so that I can successfully upload these bunch of pictures here. Did I mentioned that I have to add steps in each picture?

Letter A

Step 1. Prepare any square or rectangular piece of paper. Fold the paper into four equal parts in lengthwise. Fold the paper into four equal parts in crosswise. Observe also the crease made after folding.

Step 2. Fold the paper into two equal parts. Then fold one of the two equal parts into two.
Step 3. Mark the lower end of the paper as seen on the picture.
Step 4. Mark also the upper end of the crease as seen on the picture.
Step 5. Draw a line connecting two points drawn in Step 3 and 4 using any straight edge.
Step 6. Refer to the picture, mark each part as it appear
Step 7. Follow up image for Step 6.
Step 8. Cut.
Step 9. Remove excess parts.
Step 10. Unfold. This is the final output of this activity

Step 4. Observe the number of creases made as you fold the paper. Fold the paper in half, following the crease made. Then, fold make another crease dividing the paper between the first and second crease.
Step 5. This is a follow up instruction for Step 4.
Step 6. Refer to the picture. Observe the part to be cut.
Step 7. Cut out those part.
Step 8. Unfold the paper. Letter B.

Letter C

Step 1. Prepare any square or rectangular piece of paper. Fold the paper into four equal parts in lengthwise. Fold the paper into four equal parts in crosswise. Observe also the crease made after folding.

Step 2. Fold the entire paper in four equal parts (1/4) following the crease made. Look at the picture above and observe the "cut" mark as well as the portion to be removed later. Draw a curve as seen on the image.
Step 3. Cut the part the needs to be removed.
Step 4. Unfold. It is now the letter O. Cut a portion of the paper between the second crease and the third crease.

Step 7. Cut and remove excess parts. Unfold.
