    Boy...you sure cover a WIDE area of topics...I started using winsor & newton's watercolor when I won a watercolor set, from a high school art competition. I've been painting with it since I graduated from art school, that was 30+years ago...I'm a true fan.

    I have a 12 half-pan W&N wooden box set. It's really nice. I do use a selection of Daler Rowney W&N and Kremer. I mostly use watercolour for background washes for journal pages as I am a useless watercolourist! Nice lens.

    There is a vast difference between using watercolor pencils and watercolor paints. I recommend giving the watercolor paints a try. They are so much fun and look really good.

    Fabulous resource lens! The travel set is interesting. I've been working in pencil and watercolor pencil. I need to take the plunge and try watercolors:-)
