Digital Art & Design 2
ART 216 is a digital print media course with an emphasis on the medium as a vehicle for creative expression. During the term this class investigates the image and the application Adobe Photoshop and Flash. Issues covered include composition, subject matter and context, truth vs perception, individual vs corporate view, politics and media ethics, image history and the creation of reality, and copyright issues. Central to these issues, and the focal point of this course, is the impact of the image in culture.
