After a 25-year hiatus from the paintbrush, Christy's return has burst onto the canvas, demonstrating color, motion, and ideas. Her wish is to depict life in a transformed scene: a magical escape, on the edge of fantasy; a place we may dream to be. Let your eyes enjoy the journey.

Primarily a self-taught artist, Christy's creativity was initially encouraged by her mother, also an artist, who encouraged the creative mind and happily supported the constant ongoing art project which filled the home on a daily basis. She was immediately drawn to watercolors the first time it was presented to her in a 7th grade art class. She has attended various classes and workshops and earned a minor in Fine Arts at the University of Montana, to enhance her natural talent. In addition, she has completed works in acrylics, mixed media, and most recently silk painting. She has exhibited in various shows throughout Montana, Minnesota and Mexico. She has been commissioned for paintings of homes, cabins and gardens in Western Montana, and also pet portraits, where she applies a personal spin in each work. Recently, she's had six works commissioned to be hung at the Missoula International airport, representing Montana state symbols. All of Christy's artwork is uniquely her own and represents life experiences and personal sentiment.
