The love of my life is an artist. She creates beautiful canvases, which amaze me every time I see them. Three years ago we started selling her works on eBay. Since I am deeply involved in this business, I realize that
eBay is full of various artists who try to sell their works from 10 dollars to 50,000 dollars. Everything became business lately. We also joined a few 'membership' artists websites where you can publish your art works for an annual fee (from 50 to 100+ dollars).
Keeping all this in mind, quite for awhile I was thinking of a way to bring artists and art lovers together for free, so the dollar sign will not be visible in the background.
This site is the answer to to my aspiration. This is a free community website, where artists of any kind can publish their works for free and bring more beauty to the world. If you are an artist, just follow a few simple steps to register and publish your works. If you are an art lover - you are welcome as well. Leave your comments, opinions and judgement. You wonder why the site name is 'Art For Sale'? Being an idealist, I still realize that for many artists selling their art works is the only way to survive in this world. While being absolutely free for anybody, this website can help them promoting their ideas and bring more visibility to them.
The website is still new, but I am sure it will gain more and more popularity with so many talented artists around the globe.
