Hmmmm, can you say addiction? I am definately addicted to Squidoo! "They" know it too, they even give you a link to push called "Squidoholics, check in here".

What other website allows you to (FOR FREE) build a website, or lens as we call them. On anything you want, they encourage you to put as many photo's, content, and information as you want. And they even PAY YOU to do it!

So I am bearing my soul to all of you, and showing you on this lensography, what exactly my addiction has created!

I hope you enjoy the ride!

PS: Make a lens of your own here and get your own paycheck each month!

My Hero, My Father

People have asked me, which of your lenses do you enjoy the most.

I have to say hands down it is this one, this is about my father, Harold Leo Means. A man that I truely admired as a human being, a husband, a father, a World War II hero.

He was one of those men that lived through some amazing times, during the great depression, world war II, he had many struggles during his life, many hardships, and sorrows (He lost his mom when he was a young teenager, father not around). And yet you would never ever know that he had been through those hard times, because there was not a bitter bone in his body. He chose to see the bright side of things.

He taught me that there is good in all people, that some you may just have to dig a little deeper to find it, but it is there.

This lens stands alone in content, and is very special to my heart.

I give you, my father, my hero!

My Favorite Lens

Lenses about well...Me

I think all of my lenses reflect things about me, but there are two that stand out about the rest.

One your looking at now, my lensography. The other is my Bucket List. I've added a third here, because it is one of my bucket list items that I have...

Travel lenses related to my "Bucket List"

I love exploring more about the places that I dream of traveling to.

It is my goal to make a lense about the things I accomplish on my "Bucket List" too!

My Art Lenses

I didn't know it but I have always been an artist.

When I was young I thought I had no talents, but I see the world just a little differently. My daughter once said she never really truely "saw" a sunset until she experienced them with me. Because she would look at them and say "ooh pretty" then look away. When we started walking together, I would bring point out the beautiful colors and how each second it was changing, the feeling that you experience in your heart as God unfolds the beauty of a sunset to you, is like no other. He truly is the greatest artist of all, and I am grateful to be allowed to "see" the beauty in the world that surrounds us.

I love trying to recreate those feelings I feel, after witnessing the beauty of wildlife and nature, with my paintbrush.

My Travel Lenses - Exploring Oregon

My absolute favorite place to vacation is the Oregon Coast.

Honestly it is my husband and my dream to someday retire there. There is no better life I could think of than being able to see the ocean every day from your balcony, to hear the waves crashing down, to walk on the beach.

It is my dream, so share in my dream and experience some of Oregon with my in these lenses.

My Travel Lenses - Exploring Oregon

Sporting lenses - Oregon

I include these lenses in my Oregon Group, because that is where I found an interest in them.

Watching the windsurfers along the Columbia River, the people flying the kites on the beaches of the Oregon Coast, or bicyclist we see traveling the many...

My Animal and Nature Lenses

I have always had a love of animals and an appreciation for their beauty.

I love to study them, and learn about them.

The beauty of nature just leaves me in awe at times.

In these lenses I share the knowledge of what I have learned about animals and nature.

I do hope you will enjoy learning about them with me

My Animal and Nature Lenses

I love Animals, these animals are threatened or endangered species

Food and Fun - What a Great Combination

Honestly a lot of my lenses are created for me and my family. When we have information we often have to look up or fun things we like to play with, I like to put them in one place.

My favorites in TV and Literature

My favorite television show is Lost, our whole family loves it. So I had to create a lens about it, and check back through the links there to see when the darn thing will air again...I'm lost without Lost.

Ask any one in my family who my favorite author is, and they will tell you, "Dean Koontz". I love the way he captures you from the start, and keeps you held there through the entire novel, leaving you with a warm fuzzy feeling at the end, but wanting more.

My favorites in TV and Literature

My Idaho Lenses - Where I live

Idaho is very dear to my heart, as it is where Home is.

These are some of the places in Idaho, I would like to share with the World.

Just can't get enough of Idaho

My Shopping Lenses

These are lenses that I have created to help people find great buys on items they may need, including myself. I often shop from my own pages.

When anything sells, I get a royality for my charity and myself!

Happy shopping!

Affiliate Shopping Lenses

My Hobby Lenses

I love Geocaching, it is a great treasure hunt, more about the hunt than the treasure. My son loves transformers. Which is how these two lenses came to exist. Enjoy!

Are you addicted yet - How to build your own lens and Promote it

I noticed a need for people just starting out that knew they wanted to build a lens, and just didn't know where to go from the idea stage and a place to promote your lens, to the Secrets of the Giants and Creators of Squidoo. Here they are!

Linda, thanks for the support - You and I have a lot in common I think. I love how you taught your daughter to see the sunset - what a gift you've given her!
