Fine Art by S E Cowan

I am a self-taught artist who paints mainly in acrylics, and occasionally in oils. From my home studio, I produce paintings that express in vivid color, my desire for a peaceful, serene life. My passion for painting has lead to a successful solo exhibition in a local coffee house/art gallery and my paintings have been available for sale through a local framing studio gallery. I am a member of The Terrace Art Gallery, as well as WetCanvas, and other online site for artists which contribute to her continuing development as an artist.

If you are looking for good original art at affordable prices,  I accept commissions as well as sell my original works.  All works that are offered for sale on my website My Sales Gallery  Please check out this website if you are interested in my art.

Resting Geese

My newest work....

Growing up on the prairies, nothing signified the change of seasons as much as the familiar honking of the flying V's of Canadian Geese as they headed southward for the winter. I loved to watch them land on the marshes and nearby grain fields to glean the last of the crops. I hope this painting gives credit to these wonderful birds who mate for life.

This is acrylic on 16" X 20" gallery wrapped canvas and is available for sale on my website: My Sales Gallery
