Koloron Art Fabric, something new to the world of art and design

It's so long since a new art material arrived on the scene that one can be forgiven for thinking that we use all there is to use. Well not so. Koloron is a unique hybrid, a cross between two valuable mediums, paper and fabric. And it brings a number of exciting and creative advantages.

You should see what we have done with a roll of Koloron, created a worldwide environmental friendly product for everybody, checkout the samples.

A fabric to paint on and wear

Paper with the strength of fabric or fabric with a drawing surface, Koloron is both these things and more. It made its first appearance in the UK as a range of simple garments for kids to paint and dress up in.

Many schools in the country now depend upon Koloron to simplify the work of costume making at Christmas for the Nativity Shows and Panto's.
Instead of asking for parents to support them by making garments they are able to design and produce clever costumes quickly and cheaply from Koloron. Scissors, PVA and sometimes a little stitching and the Show goes on!

The ability to make elaborate costumes and colour them once they have been made wasn't missed by the designers in the Art Schools and Colleges.
Students looking to produce style ideas for portfolios, costumes for exhibitions and catwalk garments that used pots of bright colour were soon buying Koloron rolls.

Koloron for creative people

Some amazing costumes have been produced. Koloron has been wired to create form, burnt to transform its nature and heated and creased for effect and even washed, stuffed and quilted before colour has been applied to finish the look.

Anything from paint slashes and splatters to hand painted scenes, handwritten skirts to tops that copied road signs and street names, so much has been done.

Koloron has even made London's Fashion Week on a number of occasions. Arts & Crafts also use Koloron, it is made into everything that paper and fabric is used for from artificial flower to sculpture, kites to beads and curtains to chair covers. In the hands of creative people the boundaries of possibilities are being pushed.

In Koloron they have found an opportunity to expand their ideas and experiment with a new medium.
But that is creativity isn't it?
