What is Art for Critters?
What do you get when you combine talented artists with charities in need? Art for Critters.
Artists from around the world, with a desire to help animals in need, have committed to donating a portion of their art sales to help animal charities.
Every little bit helps and each donation will mean another day of food, medical care or just a peaceful nights sleep for some needy critter. Our hats are off to the wonderful, caring workers at these charities and we are happy to help them with our artistic abilities.
We work hand in hand with the charities. When we list an auction we email the charity with the link, this way they see the progress and can add the link to their website. All donations are made directly to the charity from the individual Art for Critters artist upon the completion of the sale.
It brings us joy to know that as a group we can combine our passion of painting with our love of animals.
My personal involvement in Art for Critters
I am a proud juried member of this fine group, (and now co-leader). I grow more committed to Art for Critters every day and I am deeply honored to be a part of this group. Each member of A4C is a talented, generous and kind hearted artist. I personally donated 10% of nearly ALL my original ACEOs (miniature paintings that measure 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches) in 2006 and 2007 to animal charities through A4C. I hope to top that percent this year and get the word out about these great artists who donate to animal charity. My most recent Art for Charity
My newest Charity Art on eBay Now
Each miniature painting is lovingly created by the artist, (me!) and then sold on eBay auction. After the original sells, I create high quality prints called Giclee which I also sell in my eBay store. My customers have a choice of art that ranges in price from under $5.00 up to $300.00. So there is something for every art collector. ACEOs are affordable and so small you can carry your own art gallery in your wallet!
