Living with Arthritis
Determined for a better quality of life without pain, I researched R/A, as it is called, and found many things that can help. Twenty five years ago we didn't have the improved tools for Arthritis they have today. First and foremost, you must research and find a reputable doctor to treat your Arthritis. One who listens to your concerns and not one who, after fifteen minutes, shoves you out the door. I have had a few of those in my time and, needless to say, I waved them a hearty good bye. Now, I have a wonderful doctor who has my needs and concerns considered and adopts them into my regiment for a better quality of life with NO PAIN!
Joint Advance is a great product for it helps flexibility and mobility. I recommend it for all walks of life, and I mean that in every sense of the word.

When I first married, we moved into a two bedroom apartment. It was on the second floor of a two family home. We lived downstairs, and the owner and his wife lived upstairs. We met the wife and liked the apartment. We thought we would live there for a few years and then buy our own home. After we moved into the apartment and started to put things away, there was a knock on the door. My husband asked, "Who is it?" A man's voice came from the other side of the door stating that he was the owner and would like to speak with us. My husband opened the door. I stood aside of my husband as the door swung open and there was a man standing and leaning on a cane with both hands. His body filled the doorway, and I cannot describe this man, other, than to use the word obese. He didn't move much, but as he leaned on his cane, he held out his hand and shook both of ours one at a time. He welcomed us and wished us a happy long life. He said, "If you need anything, just let me know." He was a very pleasant man, and I liked him immediately for he seemed so sincere with his well wishes. As he turned, very slowly, he grasp the railing with his left hand and his cane in the other and took one step at a time. My husband asked if he would like some help and he said, "No, I'm all right, it just takes me a while. Arthritis, you know?"
I was a young bride and didn't have Arthritis until I was well into my forty's, but I knew Arthritis. My mother suffered from it, and I could see the deformation that had plagued her body day after day. However, she was not overweight. To this day, I cannot imagine a person carrying a lot of weight and having Arthritis. It has to be double hell and research tells me it can also lead to other health problems.
When Arthritis hit me, it hit hard with pain. At first, I grew angry, and then I thought there is a lot of information and tools out there that can help. I started to search for a good R/A doctor. That was first and foremost. To find a doctor who will be a partner to your regiment toward a healthy body. He must be able to answer all your concerns and your needs. After all, that's what a good doctor does. Second, is a healthy diet. I think the Lemon Diet is a great diet because it not only helps you lose weight, but cleanses the body in the process. Ask your doctor about all of these tools and any more you can think of. He or she will guide you to what you need and how much you need. Every body is different and you need the advice of a good doctor who specializes in Arthritis.

- Hi fionamckay9,
I know what your talking about and I must tell you that first and foremost, you have to seek out a great R/A doctor. The doctor can give you a regiment to go by. He or she, will prescribe something to control the inflamation and the R/A from progressing. It is also a must when taking anything prescribed to do blood work every 5 or 6 weeks to make sure there is no damage from the medicine the doctor prescribes. My good doctor is keeping me on track and it's been years now and I feel great. She also believes in excercise, building muscle and taking some vitamins that the R/A robs the body from. I hope I was somewhat helpful.
