I'm a network marketer that does this part time and I'm looking to help other network marketers that are serious about their business. People who understand that network marketing is NOT a Get Rich Quick scheme. It's all about investing time in yourself to get educated on what marketing techniques work on the net and how to apply them.

People tend to think that a good product and a great website are all you need to be a success online. If only it were that easy. Sadly, this couldn't be further from the truth. You can't just have a good product or a fancy website because it's just not enough. It doesn't matter how great or rare or out-of-this-world your product is or how much time or money you put in to creating the most appealing website if no one ever sees it. If you lack visitors to your site then it might as well not exist. In fact, you'll become like most others who have websites online that lose money due to the lack of understanding on how to properly market online. The key to marketing online is getting the traffic to your site. Even more importantly, is getting quality traffic. Read on to find out more about article marketing tools.

There's different ways to execute this and they include paid methods and free methods. Today, the internet is the best platform to market your business. Unlike traditional marketing, you have to litterily go out and physically find prospects. With the advantages of online, the prospects actually come and find you. The way to do this is to get yourself in front of those prospects who are looking for the particular product or service you are offering. Paid marketing methods work pretty effectively but sometimes you lose money because when you stop spending you stop earning. Paid methods require you to have some capital to fuel your business. Once that's gone things cease. Free marketing methods are just as effective but much more time consuming. The main advantages are (obviously) it's free, but more significant is that it continues to work long after you've completed the job.

BLOGS or WEBSITES ~

These are one of the key article marketing tools on the internet for any online business. Search engines favor blogs and especially favor the ones which continually deliver the high quality content and material they look for. Blogs also help create the online presence needed to get yourself established. The online community will begin to see you over & over and then acknowledge you as credible. You must understand that once you decide to blog, there's no stopping. If you want to position yourself as such and be successful you much dedicate time and make a true commitment to it by posting several times a week. It's a very rewarding tool in the internet marketing world.

ARTICLES ~

After writing your article and posting it to your website or blog you should then post it with a reputable online publisher (like Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Article Dashboard etc.) where it creates a back link which points to your original content making it more relevant and from there it stays online forever, literally! What some people aren't realizing is that anything you post online never goes away - this is good news for us online marketers but bad news for those who use Facebook as a personal diary - LOL. This is another excellent way to market for free. Again, search engines favor articles because they are fresh content which provide valuable information to those searching for it. Articles also help to establish who you are and place you as an "authority" within your niche. There are tools you can use to syndicate your content such as Article Marketing Robot. This tool will distribute your articles to hundreds if not thousands of directories creating back links to your site which ranks you higher in the search engines to be found by more customers. Now when you first start out it might be difficult to rank for high competition keywords in your niche. I found that using a keyword research tool like Google's FREE keyword tool helps point you in the direction of what people are searching for in your niche.I recommend that if you're serious about ranking you should look into a paid keyword tool like the one I use Market Samurai. This tool uses Google's keyword tool to show you what people are searching for but it takes it a few steps further by giving you a behind the scenes look on your competition. It gives you all the ammunition on how you can beat them out of their spot on the 1st page.

VIDEOS ~

One word - "Youtube". Enough said. Seriously, this goes without saying but the article marketing tool of video is enormously powerful. You'll definitely need to use this tool. It's important to put your face out there for everyone to see. Recognition is everything, just think of TV commercials vs radio commercials. You can hear about a product all day, every day and pass by it on the super market shelf and never know you did. BUT, if you see commercials on this same product you're gonna identify it on that same shelf in that same super market. Video helps to create a personal connection between you and the prospect. Something to remember: people buy from people, not computers. How do you get my video in front of people to create traffic you might be asking. It's not enough to just post it to YouTube, Metacafe, or Dailymotion and pray someone views it. The same concept I wrote about above applies to video also. You choose a keyword you can rank for and make sure when submitting your articles to directories or authority sites you insert a link to the video you created to make that video relevant in the eyes of Google. The more back links you create for any piece of content you post the higher you rise in the search engines.
