If you want to market a product, surely you just advertise it?
Well you can - if you have a big enough advertising budget.
Advertising is expensive and needs careful tracking to keep the costs under control. I must be pretty bad at advertising, because I've never yet made a profit out of a paid advertising campaign!
If, (or in my case when) your advert doesn't work, what do you do? Give up? Run the same advert? Change tack completely? How often do you keep throwing good money after bad?
