Why Article Marketing is the Best Way to Get Highly Targeted Traffic

When I started my first website, I had no money to spend on advertising. But I count that lack of money as one of the best things that could have happened to me.

Why? Because I would have opted for the "easy" route of advertising and wasted my money because I didn't know what I was doing.

What I did instead was I wrote articles and submitted them to various "article submission sites" like http://ezinearticles.com or http://articlecity.com.

Yes, it was work, but two and a half years later, those articles are still on the web and they are still bringing visitors to my various sites. Try to do that with paid advertising.

Even better, a couple of those articles still rank very high on Google, Yahoo and MSN, making it easier for people to find me.

Consider this lens as a resource to help you get highly targeted traffic to your website with artilce marketing. I will show you how to find highly targeted "long tail" search terms, how to write articles that emphasize those long tail keywords (I'll even explain what "long tail" means).

Then I'll show you how to write articles very, very quickly, even if you can barely write a grocery list. I'll have you turning out 10 to 25 articles a week (actually, with what I show you, you will laugh at those numbers because they will be no challenge for you at all).

Finally, I will show you how to turn those short 250 to 500 word articles into money. People will read your articles, receive value in what you write and come to your site with their credit cards out and ready to spend money. I promise.

I also want to point out that I am supplementing this information with a free, five-day ecourse that I offer at How to Create Niche Blogs that Earn $10 to $25 Per Day. I am certain you will find that information helpful as well.

Now, before we close this introduction, your first assignment is to find out how to find those "long tail" search terms. I have done it the hard way in the past, but you can leap over a lot of the learning process I had to go through by watching the videos on the: Micro Niche Finder

Yes, I know this software costs money and you should also know that I will earn an affiliate commission if you buy Micro Niche Finder. But whether you choose to buy it or not, just watching the videos will show you what "long tail" search terms are and why it is so important to start your article marketing efforts with them.

I will also show you ways to find keywords/search terms for free, and I recommend you use both free methods and the Micro Niche Finder.

But take my advice, the Micro Niche Finder is by far the best tool I use. And it saves me massive amounts of time.

So check out the videos and next time I will show you other ways to get your article marketing onto the fast lane.

Stop! Don't read on until you watch the videos on how to find targeted, "long tail" search terms.

Your success as an internet marketer depends on finding profitable niches. So be sure to watch the Micro Niche Finder videos.

Whether you buy or not, you will learn a lot about finding money-making niches.

Get First Page Google Rankings For Your Articles

A Review of the Joe Palladino's Article Ranking Formula

Sometimes I am dumbfounded by the great ideas people come up with. Of course, I am usually just a little jealous that I didn't come up with that same great idea myself, but that's another story.

Anyway, I want to tell you about one awesome idea I wish I had come up with, but didn't.

I am talking about Joe Palladino's Article Ranking Formula. This is just a superb system that virtually guarantees that any article you write and submit to an article submission site, will hit the page of Google's rankings for the keyword you select.

The power of a first page Google ranking cannot be over stated. Almost everyone who types in your search term will read your article and then visit your site. The traffic pulling potential is just awesome.

As I write this, I am changing all my plans for today and plan to go back to many of my already-submitted articles to make changes so they comply with Joe's formula.

So don't delay. Check out his Article Ranking Formula, right now to start getting first page Google rankings on your articles.

Best Wishes,

Charles Brown

Proof That Article Marketing Brings in Targeted Traffic

Not Sure It Really Works? Here's The Proof.

This video by Lisa Sparks shows you how one article, submitted to one article submission site, can get picked up by hundreds of other websites across the net. And all of those new sites point links back to your site. Other than chocolate, what could be better than that?

How To Fast Track Your Article Marketing, Tip #1

How to write more articles in less time than you ever thought possible.

Want to know my favorite secret to writing a lot of articles, fast? One word: "questions."

First I do a little Google research on my topic, just enough to get partly knowledgeable. And then I start firing questions at the topic.

For example, one of my other Squidoo lenses is on the topic of "Parental Alienation Syndrom" My questions might be, "what is parental alienation syndrome (PAS)?" "What can be done to fight back against PAS?" "How can the victimized parent prove this action is taking place when the parties go to court?" "Does PAS harm the child as well as the other parent?" "Why do some parents engage in this behavior?"

I have found that I can write out more questions (after I know a little about the topic) than I can write text. Literally, I can fill page after page with questions after just a little bit of research.

This is why my research ALWAYS leads to multiple articles on the same topic.

Afterwards, the questions often become a framework to write my articles around, or they can just stimulate more ideas. But the main point here is I (and probably you as well) can write questions faster than text and statements.

By the way, if you haven't done so yet, be sure to watch the videos on the Micro Niche Finder to give you a greater understanding of how you can find keywords (search terms) that have very little competition.

You should also check out my free, five day e-course called, How to Create Niche Blogs that Earn $10 to $25 Per Day, where I explain how to find and profit from small niches that your competition has overlooked.

How to Fast Track Your Article Marketing , Tip #2

It's Write Under Your Nose, But Squidoo is One of the Best Places to Post Your Articles

We've already discussed article marketing as a way to build traffic to your website. Typically this has simply meant writing your article and posting it on an article submission site like, ezinearticles.com or goarticles.com.

However, your Squidoo lenses may be even more effective for driving traffic. For example, I am promoting my eCourse on How to Create Niche Blogs that Earn $10 to $25 Per Day.

I have found that by creating several lenses around different, but related, long tail keywords, I can point these links to my opt in page and drive more traffic than just by article submission sites alone.

So don't discount your lenses as a great place to post your articles. You may be astonished by your results.

Write an Article a Day - Review

A Veteran Writer Shares Her Secrets

"Write an Article a Day" is a very helpful guide written by veteran writer, Georganne Fiumara.

Georganne speaks from experience and her guide is a great way for an inexperienced writer to move from the slow lane to the fast lane in article marketing.

With over 22 years experience, and writing credits including offline magazines like Family Circle, Woman's Day, American Baby, Income Opportunities, The New York Times and Newsday.

But her system is equally applicable to online efforts like writing ebooks and article marketing with submission sites like ezinearticles.com.

She really takes a systematic approach toward breaking your topic down into small, manageable projects that make the task flow easily and quickly.

"Write an Article a Day" is an excellent guide for both the beginner and the intermediate article marketer, but I suspect the advanced writer will already have developed his or her own systems that work just as well.

That is not to say that even the advanced writer will not benefit from "Write an Article a Day", but they probably won't see the instant impact writers with less experience will experience.

All in all, I really like how Georganne makes the writing process more like a cooking recipe than a lot of writing books. At $53 it is certainly well worth the price when compared to other books that proport to offer the same results.

How to FORCE Google to Give Your Article a High Ranking

Just do a little spying on ezinearticles.com

Did you know that ezinearticles.com gives you all the tools you need to get your next article a high ranking on Google?

Here's how:

Step One: Go into the category you wish to write about and do a search for the articles within that category that have been re-published, viewed and emailed the most.

This is a wonderful tool within ezinearticles that helps you look at the most successful articles within your niche.

Step Two: Study the top ten of these articles. Look at their headlines, the content and how they are laid out.

Step Three: This is the most important step. Copy the keywords used for these articles. These are simply the most successful keywords within your niche for your competing articles.

Sprinkle those same keywords within your article's headline, first paragraph, last paragraph and throughout the body. Don't over do this, but make sure the most important keywords are in the headline and first and last paragraphs.

Then, using these top articles as patterns, write your own article. Use your own original ideas of course, but imitate the style, the headlines and most importantly, use the same keywords.

If you do this, you can litterally force the search engines to put your article at the top of searches related to those keywords.

How to Find Hot Niches to Write About

I assume you are interested in writing articles in order to sell something. Whether it is a product or a service, your ultimate goal is probably to make money.

This means you will very often spend a lot of your time looking for hot niches to write about. You want small topics that people search for on Google and are willing to spend money on.

Here are a few places you can go to to find hot niches:

http://50.lycos.com
Lycos is a small search engine that is dwarfed by Google and Yahoo, but it nevertheless is a great tool to help you find good niches.

This link takes you to the top 50 searches people have looked for on Lycos.

http://buzz.yahoo.com
Find out what is getting a lot of buzz on Yahoo as well. This is similar to Lycos' top 50 in that it shows the top searches made on Yahoo.

http://google.com/press/zeitgeist.html
Ditto for Google.

http://pulse.ebay.com
Find out what products people are looking for on eBay.

http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/hotitems.pdf
Find out the hottest selling items on eBay.

http://hot.aol.com/hot/hot
Another search engine ranking of top searches on AOL.

http://del.icio.us/popular
An interesting place to find hot niches is on the social bookmarking site, del.icio.us. This enables you to find what sites are bookmarked and what tags are put on these bookmarkings.

Think of the tags as being the same as keywords.

I hope this list of sites helps you find new, targeted niches to write your articles about. But you still need to find out if a niche is profitable or if it has too much competition to go up against.

For that, I recommend (again) the Micro Niche Finder. As I've said before, this is an indespinsible tool for anyone trying to make money online. Check out the video on Micro Niche Finder for more information.

How to Write 10 Quality Articles a Day

An Article Writing System that Really Works

I wanted to give you a link to an article I wrote and submitted to ezinearticles several months back called, How to Write 10 Quality Articles a Day.

This is a system that will enable you to write an incredible number of artilces, and get a lot of quick inbound links to your website, by using sort of a "factory assembly line" approach.

Check it out and then send me your feedback.

Best Article Submission Sites

These article submission sites are highly rated by Google and will therefore count as higher authority sites when your articles appear on them.
Ezine Articles
This is the biggest and submission site with the highest page ranking by Google. If you only submit to one site, this is the one. You will get more traffic to your articles and they will be republished all over the internet faster on Ezine Articles than any other submission site.
Go Articles
Another high page ranking submission site. Go articles doesn't have as much clout as ezinearticles, but it is probably the next best submission site (my opinion).
Article City
This is my least favorite of the big article submission sites. It has a very good page ranking, but it strips out any html you have in your article or your signiture box, which limits is usefulness for establishing a keyword link back to your site.
Search Warp
Another good submission site with a very good page ranking. Searchwarp is very user friendly and gets a lot of traffic. Your articles will not sit there without being read on searchwarp.
Gather
Gather is really kind of cool. It is both an article submission site and a social networking site. So you get the benefits of a community and the ability to submit articles. Also it has a decent page ranking.
Articles On
Good page rank, I honestly haven't used Articles On yet but it comes highly recommended from some people I respect.
Article Dashboard
A good page rank and easy to use.
Articles-Galore
Excellent page ranking. It is also easy to use. I have had several articles just go all over the internet after posting them to Articles-Galore.
Idea Marketers
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Article Alley
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Articles Base
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Article Cube
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Easy Articles
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Articles Factory
Good page ranking, easy to use.
Article Biz
Good page ranking, easy to use.
