Article Marketing

So, you want to Article Market do you? Well then you likely must find a way to
learn how to Article (write). And how to Market (sell). Both a little scary.
But not to worry, as there are resources all over the Internet for such things.
Some better than others no doubt though.

The Article writing can be learned as you go it would seem if you've gone
around to some of the Article Directories and read some of their "Articles".
Happily, you are not up against all that tough of a contest with most of those
authors.

That leaves the Marketing part to cope with. You need a plan. Hopefully a plan
to follow from someone that has already done it.

Many people claim to give you such a thing. At whatever cost they think will
work on you, but then if you step back and look at the situation you will see
what plan they are following. They basically want your money to tell you to do
on to others what they just did to you.

So you may need to pause and think for a while and decide where it is that you
want your article to send them (your readers).

Some send them to their blogs where they can make Adsense money or affiliate
sales. Some send them right to their affiliate page. Some send them to a list
sign-up page (squeeze page) first and them redirect them to their affiliate
page.

You can also just have a give away to download and get their email address that
way. But re- member that while everyone on earth seems to be talking about
building your list, few if any are talking about what and how to do with it.

You have to actually write up a newsletter every few days, or once a week, or
whatever. And it will face the same problem as your articles.

Where do you point them to? You just may want to "Look before you leap" and
give it some thought before you start. Just start noticing what the Newsletters
that you stick to are doing and see if you can make a plan to pretty much do
the same. After all you trust them.

In fact if you have an Ezine or Newsletter and have any use for this you are
allowed to use it if you just tell them where you got it. Heck just send them
here to read it!

Don't you just have to admire these people that can have a squidoo lens or two, a few websites, and several blogs and keep up with adding fresh original content to them all the time?

It would almost lead you to suspect that they are getting the content from someone else; that is, buying it. But it is more likely that they are really just very much into what they are doing and writing about it isn't so much of a chore as having fun.

So if you wish to have a Lens on Squidoo, just be sure and pick a topic for it that you can be excited about and have a working knowledge of the subject. This will make it so much easier for you.
