Article Spinning

I am going to keep this really simple. For the first step you will need to write Five Articles. Yes, you read that right. Five Articles and they should be at least 250-300 words. Preferably, around 300.

The format of all the articles should be identical.

Body Paragraph 1

Sub-Title for Body Paragraph 2

The secret to this is staying on the same topic for all Five articles.

The reason for this is quite simple. We are going to do paragraph replacement first in our spinning process. So each of the Intro paragraphs could be switched into any of the other articles so the article flow should still read okay. The same replacement will occur for each of the other paragraphs that match for their level. In other words, only Body 1 paragraphs will be switch with each other. This will reduce the confusion and still retain the flow.

If you are serious about Spinning Articles this is one step that will try your patience. We now have the five articles but we are just a bit down the path.

What I do is take a paragraph and separate the sentences.

I will now create 4 additional sentences for each of the sentences in each of the paragraphs. Now just like the paragrphs the new sentences will need to flow in case they are switched in the same paragraph. Now, the sentences we crete here will only stay with this paragraph. So do not worry about switching between Body 1 and Body 2. Sounds like fun huh?

Our goal here is to provide variations of the paragraphs being switched in and out of other articles.

Not a big deal. Just tedious.

This may sound nuts at this point but there is a reason. We need to see a complete list of the repeated words for all Five Articles and all of the new sentences created.

When you see the list it will surprise you.

This list of words will be used by us to find alternative words to be replaced and still retain the meaning of the sentence. If you thought the sentence step was tedious this will grate on your nerves.

Trust me you will like the results.

Here is what I use for sorting out the words. Before I forget, there is a list of words called "Stop Words" that we will filter out of our sentences because they are used quite frequently and they will not be counted towards repeated words. This is a good thing.

Now we have our official list of repeated words now we need to setup our WCW project.

Open up WCW and start a new project. Copy the list of repeated words into work area and click the Auto-Allocate button. After awhile it will place braces around the words.

Now with the word list showing. Deelet any words that do not have braces around them. These means that WCW did not find any potential replacements. So we will eliminate them now to reduce confusion.

The next step involves going through the list and selecting possible replacement words. By pressing F10 will cycle Forward through the words and F9 will move backward in the list.

Now look in WCW's Project Thesaurus and you should see a list of words. Now look at the list and determine if there are any words that do not apply to your word list. Keep in mind that you want replacement words that will flow in your content.

You do not have to be completely accurate just be general in your selection. When you want to de-select a word just double click on it in the window and once you are don click the Mark button.

Go through the whole list and remember to not be overly critical. There is still more to do. When you are done make sure you Save the project.

Going forward we will be doing the entire Spin in this saved project. So saving what words you selected are critical to the process.

Let us recap. We have Five Articles, and Five Sentences for each of the paragraphs. We also have a list of our repeated words.
