    I have not visted the Art Institute of Chicago but my childhood friend, Gary Bibbs graduated from the internationally esteemed School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is now a tenured Professor of Art at the University of Kentucky.

    My daughter and I go every year with my sister and her daughter.
    We all especially love the impressionist section.

    I liked this museum more than anything else. This I must say is a world’s most renowned Museums in Chicago. A very nice arrangement of the collections but my favorite one was African section and American art section. It is popularly known for housing Garnet Wood’s American gothic, Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks and of course an amazing collection of Impressionist art, however this museum is quite expensive…$18/person but it really worthy. I strongly recommend this place.

    One of my favorite places, my mom let me take the bus from out in the country to downtown Chicago to enjoy it's wonderful works of art from the time I was twelve.

    My son recently went to Chicago as a field trip. Being an artist he would have loved to go to the Art Institute, however it wasn't on there list of events. This is a great lens on the Institute.

    5*...ok a day late and a dollar short, I missed the February Free incentive visits...I'm doing a train trip to Chicago to the Museum and also go to the NRA convention...no not the Nat.Rifle Ass. it's the Nat. Restaurant Ass.

    On a trip I had one day in the city and spent it at the Art Institute of Chicago. It was wonderful and one afternoon is not enough to take it all in. I will always remember it and if I am ever back in Chicago I will go there again. The collection of impressionist masterworks particularly impressed me at the time.
