If you had an artist easel right now, what would you paint or draw on it?

I don't have an art easel -- I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler! :-) - but my daughter and son-in-law own TWO art easels, as they are both artists and spend a great deal of time working at their easels. Enjoyed your lens.

I am not surprised that our artist favored the easel as a child!

Great lens, we have quite a bit in common. Art ;) and I am the oldest and my brother is 4 yrs younger, my mom was a stay-at-home mother, also.

If I could draw anything it would probably be something with animals, maybe one of my horses. Unfortunately I am not good at drawing anything, but my 6 year old loves to draw on his easel!

I had the best easel growing up - loved it. My kids also had one as well - I think it is so important for kids to draw and paint.

I would love to have an easel, if only to make me look as if I had some creative ability. I can draw great stick figures though!

I had an easel and the paint pots with my grandson and we sure had hours and hours of fun. Great lens with some wonderful products.

Great lens -- always inspirational to read your work. I had a small easel for my son when he was younger, and he really enjoyed it. I'm happy that he's continued enjoying drawing, painting, and creating.

I do have an easel now, but I'm ashamed to say that I rarely use it. This lens might just change that!

Lovely, clean, attractive lens with great links and content - thank you! I'm going to feature it on my own toy lens :))

I always had one around for my own kids...such a wonderful toy...

Mmm... irises, I think. I have a desktop easel but I actually have my feet on it right now!

Some really good links here - I will fave and come back and explore.

I didn't have an easel, but I did have sketch pads. Great Lens!

If I were talented enough, which I'm not, I would paint a picture of my little granddaughter Isabel surrounded by sweat-peas.

    What fun!
  • Brookelorren Aug 17, 2009 @ 4:11 pm | delete
Sounds like fun. I'd be afraid of the mess my kids would make with one though, lol. I think it would be fun to learn to paint though.

Well if I could paint or draw, which I can't, I would probably create a giant flower painting! I love flowers and it would be so cool to paint them. I could doodle them! lol

I would draw my daughter who is going away soon for a year. This is a great idea for a lens.

I just tweeted your lens, what great fun remembering playing with an easel as a child. My sister is an artist, as is my son, my inlaws met in the Art Inst. i Chicago and my Aunt and Uncle at Pratt in NY, my cousin also paints and sells, so we have art flowing through our viens:-)
