Artisteer is quite possibly one of the best tools you can own if you're using WordPress. For less than $50 you can have an endless number of custom WordPress Themes. It's an excellent WordPress Theme generator for an amazing price.
WordPress is an unbelievably good (free) piece of software. Although it was designed for bloggers, the Affiliate Marketers have embraced WordPress due to it's ease of use, price (free), and it's expandability via plugins.
One of the problems with using WordPress however, has been finding a theme that is right for your site. There's a nearly limitless supply of free themes available, but you have to watch what you install. There's sometimes malicious code in free themes.

- Great lens! I downloaded the trial version of Artisteer and I absolutely love the functionality and I can see how it will save me a little time over coding a web design from pure scratch. However, it seems that plugins do not perform that well in Artisteer templates when using the template in Wordpress. Anyone else experience this?

- Lacks some functionality in very basic look and feel stuff. If you just want to use a very basic blog, this will do a decent job for you and is worth the price. But if you want to begin to customize and add plug-ins, there are some big holes that could be filled. Template Creator

- I have the latest version as well as the beta that comes after it. The beta is buggy so I had to downgrade back to the previous version. I love the software as it makes it easy to create WP themes. However, with the current wordpress 3, the Artisteer themes that are created are compatible up to a certain point. This means that mainly the features such as custom header/background and the custom menu management won't be available for the themes you create in Artisteer. If you don't need those features, than by all means, use the software! I do!
As for the backend support, it's a bit lacking. We have no idea if or when Artisteer will roll out a new version that supports WP 3.
