Art Captures the Soul
jGibney - IMHO >> In My Humble Opinion - The MUSEUM, Zazzle, deviantART, ArtFire, FineArtAmerica
I am a Photo Artist. I photograph the image I like, print it on canvas then enhance the Art object. Rephotograph or scan and then print the Art I wish to sell. I only sell Photo Art Giclee Prints. I use a 9600 Epson Printer to produce my Giclees and prints. I also use Zazzle.com - http://www.zazzle.com/the_museum - to produce many of my Giclees. I make what I call Window Shade Art and Large Wall Hanging Art. For prints lager than I can print, I have them printed at Zazzle where I also show my Art for sale. www.zazzle.com/the_museum*

What is a Giclee?
Giclée
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Giclée (pronounced [%u0292i%u02D0%u02C8kle%u026A] "zhee-clay" or /d%u0292i%u02D0%u02C8kle%u026A, from French IPA: [%u0292i%u02C8kle]), is an invented name (i.e. a neologism) for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray"[1]. It was coined by Jack Duganne, a printmaker working in the field, to represent any inkjet-based digital print used as fine art. The intent of that name was to distinguish commonly known industrial "Iris proofs" from the type of fine art prints artists were producing on those same types of printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such prints.
Roy Schallenberg
Merritt Island, FL
Born in South Africa and raised in Zambia, Central Africa, his painting career started in 1972. Roy Schallenberg has exhibited in many parts of the world, including Australia, Canada, Israel, Germany, England, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Venezuela and throughout the United States. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 and is now residing in South Florida and Michigan.
Schallenberg finds great excitement in discovering and working with different dynamics and synergy of paint, creating flows and movements unique to his vibrant style. The abstract and expressionist paintings are pure energy and represent only themselves in meaning and significance, reflecting the mood and understanding of the viewer. With airbrush, palette knife and brush, the artist weaves color, texture, and aura into a fantasy of brilliance and spontaneity. Always innovative on his artistic journey, Schallenberg has created a dynamic sculpture collection, using the same strengths and flow found in his paintings.
Oxheart
Merritt Island, FL
My work is created in an array of mediums, from pen and ink, to mixed media paintings, to spray paint stencils, to collage. Each medium requires a different method which ultimately decides the inspiration that I draw from. I find inspiration in the process of describing concepts and surroundings. Sometimes a phrase conjures images that I then seek to illustrate. At other times I am simply attempting to capture my personal experiences or surroundings. But in every case, I believe the most difficult challenge is deciding which stroke is the last. Focusing on process and method gives me the confidence to continue forward to completion, but it also eases the stress of deciding when to stop.
Judy Edwards
Viera, FL
I am an artist living on the Central East Coast of Florida. I have spent years painting in oils. Last year, I discovered encaustics and there is no turning back. The process of investigating, creating and manipulating color with molten wax and pigment is very exciting. I love just about everything about it. There is so much potential in the encaustic journey I'm not at all concerned about the destination. Visit my website often to see more. www.judyedwards.com, enjoy and thanks for visiting. Judy
Keywest Charlie
Melbourne, FL
I grew up in the florida keys and have been around the ocean all my life. I started painting years ago and found the more you look the more you see. Looking above and below the ocean are the most satisfying things you can do if you really want to see the life that surrounds you.

About Fine Art America
A Professional Network for Visual Artists, Photographers, Art Collectors, and Gallery Owners
Take a Tour
FineArtAmerica.com is a social network and e-commerce marketplace for photographers, visual artists, art galleries, and fine art collectors. Visitors to FineArtAmerica.com can choose from over
850,000 pieces of original artwork including paintings, sculptures, drawings,
mixed media, jewelry, and more! Many of these originals are also available
as fine art prints-on-demand.
FineArtAmerica.com is a powerful promotional tool for artists and art galleries due to it's extensive integration of geo-location technology. Each visitor to FineArtAmerica.com
is geographically located by IP address, and then the pages of FineArtAmerica.com
are individually tailored to that location. This feature does an outstanding job of prominently displaying local artists, local galleries, upcoming local events, local job openings, and more. The feature is unique among fine art websites and fosters a sense of community amongst the members of the site. It also encourages something completely unique - the purchasing of fine art originals. If a fine art collector can drive down the road and actually meet with a local artist
and view his or her work, that collector is much more likely to spend several hundred dollars or several thousand dollars on an original.
All members of Fine Art America can upload artwork, advertise upcoming events, post job openings,
post blogs, issue press releases, and participate in online chats and discussions. Fine Art America is currently adding approximately 75 new artists per day and is on it's way to becoming the premier online destination for artists, galleries,
and collectors around the world.
