During the early TV years, Art Linkletter had a way with entertaining people of all ages. I remember my Mother watching his television show, and both of us would watch his interviews with children. They were always a favorite. His wit and sense of humor blend with perfection to make the child or child at heart feel at home.
This place was made for the man who put kids on the map in the 1950s and 1960s. Art Linkletter was one of the first people to make the transition from radio to television, and his interviews with children remain forever timeless.

Art Linkletter History
Art Linkletter (born Gordon Arthur Kelly on July 17 1912 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada) was the host of two of the longest-running shows in United States broadcast history: House Party, which ran on CBS radio and television for 25 years, and People Are Funny, on NBC radio-TV for 19 years. Linkletter was famous for interviewing children on House Party and Kids Say the Darndest Things, which led to a successful series of books quoting children.
In his autobiography, Confessions of a Happy Man (1960), Linkletter revealed that he had had no contact with his natural parents or his sister or two...
