Buy and Sell art online???
Yes! You can find wonderful art right online!!! And if you are an artist, there are many places you can list and sell your art!
My desire is to create a lens that helps both collectors and artists find some of the best ways to shop for and sell art online.
I will highlight some of the best online auction and shopping venues. Some will allow me to show the art that is available.
I will teach a little more about acryonyms so that buyers can find what they are looking for, and sellers can reach out to their buyers.
If you are an artist - please feel free to leave a comment with a link to your personal online gallery (family friendly links only please - or your comment will have to be removed).
If anyone has other places they would like me to add... just let me know. I will check out the website and if I feel it fits my criteria I will be happy to add it!
Enjoy! Happy collecting and selling!

Art Terms
Search / Selling terms and meanings
ACEO = Art Cards Editions and Originals
This is a common term used an almost any art auction site. ACEO's are always 2.5" x 3.5". They are the size of trading cards - and as such, most people prefer that they also fit nicely into a trading card sleeve.
Art2 = Art Squared
Any are created as a square - miniature to large!
ATC = Art Trading Card Typically the same as an ACEO but traded not sold - though there is great overlap.
CaaT = Complimentary Art and Things
An eBay term
A wonderful group of ecclectic artists creating all kinds of art. It's an energetic and enthusiastic group. See some of the CaaT auctions below.
SFA = Small Format Art
Small format art is any art that is 14" or less in any dimension. It includes all sorts of media. A great way to collect original art without running out of room to showcase it!
Sleeve
You'll see this term used mostly with ACEO's or ATC's but sometimes you'll also see it with 4"x6" or OSWOA art. It refers to a plastic covering that the art slips into. Some sleeves are thin and flexible while "top loaders" are often much more firm and protective.
WnW = Watercolor's Wet'n Wild
An eBay term
A small juried group of watercolorists selling small and large paintings on eBay.
OOAK = One of a Kind
