Dawn, when you sent the cards, who did you send them to? Did you just mail them to friends and family, or did you buy a mailing list?

You have some pretty good ideas!! I am a pencil artist specializing in portraits.Although I have been practicing for over 20 years this is a new home business.I just had postcards printed up with 3 images.I am already bummed out because no one has called me yet and its only been a few days since I sent out some cards.Im trying really hard to brainstorm ways to promote and market on a shoestring budget here.Plus I dont really know too many people.I read and research a lot...Anyway,thanks for the info.
