Celtic Folksongs
This book is a collection of rich tunes and ballads specifically characteristic of the cultures of Scotland, Newfoundland and Ireland. Initially associate with everyday rural activities, these memorable melodies have been married with colourful accompaniments to offer a variety of musical settings. The accompaniment CD(included with the solo book) provides all musicians with the opportunity to perform in concerts or with friends and relatives. There are two tracks for each tune. The first track includes a sample performance of the solo with the accompaniment. The second track is just the accompaniment, allowing the soloist to play along.

Big Band Highlights Saxophone+CD
For many musicians playing in a big band is an ultimate high point. The special line-up of the big band guarantees amazing tuttis but equally allows the opportunity to perform quiet ballads. Playing in the wind section of a big band is an experience you will not forget in a hurry. Unfortunately, playing a solo - as the word suggests - is reserved for only a few, However, with this book, you can be the centre of attention, as you get the opportunity to play the leading part in these swinging pieces.
On the enclosed CD you will hear fantastic solos which give you a good idea as to how it should be done. Of course you do not have to copy the solo, you can also improvise to the written chords.
Blues Cruise Tenor Saxophone+CDEverybody knows the term 'the blues'. Many people also have pre-conceptions about blues music and often associate it with names such as B.B. King. All blues music is connected by a characteristic chord progression and this format can be used in numerous forms and styles.
In the thirteen wonderful pieces of Blues Cruise blues music is presented in various guises and thirteen individual ways. Major and minor keys are used in this book and many different forms of the blues are dealt with. This allows you to master the genre over a broad range of music and includes the opportunity to improvise.
On the cool CD you will hear the blues in a hip-hop variation and also in in other styles, such as bossa nova and reggae. The excellent recordings ensure extra motivation and many hours of playing fun.

A Personal Referral
There are
literally tons of music sites out there --- some are quite
informative while others simply waste your time. As I was
surfing the net (a while back), I came across a site which
just blew me away!
It offered over
60 free online piano lessons, resources, and even a
300-pg Piano Course for students who are serious about
learning to play the piano by ear. As I began reading about
the 300-pg Piano Course, I was truly amazed at all the
topics covered in this course. It covered beginning
techniques, music theory, chords, progressions,
improvisation, and more! Believe me... these are just some
of the concepts in the course. To tell you the truth --- I
can't even remember all of topics covered because there are
so many.
I personally recommend "The
Secrets to Playing Piano By Ear" 300-pg Course and through
my relationship with Jermaine (the author of this course),
I've been able to get him to throw in a few bonus items (3
additional piano software programs). He has taught literally
thousands of musicians how to play the piano by ear. I don't
know how long he can allow me to offer my visitors this
amazing bargain, but if you are serious about learning to
play the piano by ear, I wouldn't pass up this opportunity.
Click here to learn the secrets to playing absolutely any
song on the piano in virtually minutes or visit his
website:
I highly recommend it.

Gospel Music : Urban and Contemporary Worship
Get started playing worship songs today!

"There are 3 TRUTHS
that will greatly help you excel in your gospel piano playing by ear. Let me explain...
This is what it all boils down to if you want to learn how to play worship music by ear...
Truth #1 ... You Have to Learn Patterns ...
Gospel music is all about patterns, my friend. If you ask
any experienced musician about learning new songs, they will
agree that the same chords are used over and over again in
song after song. I wish I could brag about how I learn every
new chord "that comes out" but you know what ...?
Chords don't come out.
Progressions don't come out. They've been here for
decades and they will always be the same.
New songs will come out with different combinations of
chords but what it all boils down to is getting to the point
where you can recognize recurring patterns within any song.
These small patterns ... or chord progressions ... or
"couples" will enable you to learn any song by ear ---
regardless of how complex you think the song is.
Truth #2
You Have to Know What Major Key The Patterns Originate
From...
See... once you've determined which patterns are at work,
the next battle is to determine what major key the song is
being played in. There are twelve major keys just like there
are twelve major scales. A song can only be in one key at a
time.
Songs may change keys (for example, from "Db
major" to "Eb
major") but can only be in one distinct key at any given
time. And trust me... as you listen to a song, you should be
able to hum (with your own voice) this key out loud and it
should fit in at all places during the song.
Next, you'd basically transfer what you are humming to the
piano and find the single note that matches your voice. This
is what I recommend for people just starting out.
Experienced musicians will find the major key of a song
within 3 seconds without humming but there has never been a
time I haven't been able to help a beginning musician
understand this concept of key signatures.
Keep reading and you'll learn it too...
Truth #3
You Have to Know How to Hear These Patterns In "Real-life"
Songs
I'm going to repeat myself time and time again.
SONGS OPERATE BY PATTERNS and until you learn to
recognize these patterns in songs, you'll be in the same
boat.
Asking people for chords to new songs will only help so
long. There will come a time when you're going to have to
step out on faith and learn these songs on your own.
... And I'm here to tell you that it's not as hard as you
think."
The next step to playing tons of Gospel Songs by ear starts right here!
