Make a Life-Changing Difference to a Child

Asante Africa Foundation is proud to introduce its new online shopping center, the Asante Africa Foundation Marketplace—the latest way to help educate kids in rural East Africa. The Asante Africa Foundation product line features a number of unique gift items, including beaded "Asante" wristbands crafted by mothers of the young students we support, 100% organic Tanzanian Dark Roast coffee beans, our new 2012 Asante Africa Foundation calendar, and—by popular demand—an assortment of note cards featuring photos from our past Asante Africa Foundation calendars.

All proceeds from the Asante Africa Foundation Marketplace will be used to improve communities and provide quality education to children in rural East Africa. Asante Africa Foundation presently serves communities in Tanzania and Kenya, with the assistance of our Global Program Leadership Team. In the past few years, Asante Africa Foundation programs and scholarships have impacted the lives of more than 10,000 students and teachers in more than 10 schools.

The photos featured below were taken at the "Sunrise Over Mount Kilimanjaro" fundraising event held in northern California. More than $40,000 was raised, and those funds will be used to prepare facilities, students, and teachers for the upcoming school year. Thanks to our generous contributors, greatly needed textbooks, uniforms, materials, and school lunches will now be available to support students in their studies. In addition, Asante Africa Foundation will be able to provide over 130 student scholarships, critically needed classrooms, science labs, and student sleeping accommodations.

Did you miss the "Sunrise Over Mount Kilimanjaro" and "Escape to Zanzibar" fundraising events? It's not too late to make a donation to Asante Africa Foundation.

Asante Africa Coffee

Support Asante Africa Foundation

Asante Africa Foundation has partnered up with Dean's Beans to create our very own custom blend of 100% organic, fair-traded coffee--Tanzanian Dark Roast. It is a smooth dark roasted blend of coffee beans grown and harvested in Tanzania. Each coffee blend comes in a 12 oz. foil bag that has a shelf life of 6 months so you can enjoy our coffee for months on end.

With every purchase of our coffee, you will be helping to support Asante Africa's mission while also providing a sustainable income to local farmers in the communities where we work. Let's help make the world a better place!

Asante Beaded Wristband

Asante ... the Swahili Word for Thank You

Did you know that a purchase of 3 wristbands will provide a uniform and shoes for a student to be able to attend school. Imagine how a simple wristband can enable the realization of a child's dreams.

Each wristband is individually handmade with care by the "mamas" in the communities we work with. Our wristbands feature the flags of the two countries we work in--Tanzania (blue, yellow, black and green) and Kenya (black, red, white, and green)--and beaded in white in the middle of each wristband is "ASANTE," the Swahili word for thank you.
