Ascended Lady Master Nada is Chohan of the Sixth Ray, the purple and gold ray, of peace, service and brotherhood. In her final incarnation 2,700 years ago, Nada was the youngest of a large family of exceptionally gifted children. Archangel Charity appeared to her at an early age and taught her how to draw God's love from the flame in her heart and to radiate it into the nature kingdom for the blessing of all life. He also taught her to radiate it into the chakras of her brothers and sisters, so that by a heightened inner awareness they might bless others and uplift earth's culture through the arts.

devachan [Sanskrit, "dwelling place of the shining ones"]: The Ascended Masters teach that devachan is a "subplane" of the mental octave. It is the place of wish-fulfillment, where the soul (memory body) may spend time between embodiments playing out unfulfilled desires and preparing for the next incarnation.

The Ascended Master El Morya Khan is the Lord (Chohan) of the First Ray of God's Will and Chief of the Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood. He is the founder of The Summit Lighthouse and teacher and sponsor of the Messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. The Master's extraordinary devotion to God's word and work is a powerful stream that runs throughout his soul's incarnations on earth as he has stood staunch in the role of advocate, teacher, and exemplar before our spirits soaring unto Love.

El Morya was embodied as Abraham, the ancient patriarch who emerged from Ur of the Chaldees to become the prototype and progenitor of the twelve tribes of Israel.

Returning as Melchior, one of the three wise men of the East, he followed the star that portended the birth of the best of his seed who would fulfill all the promises of God unto his spiritual descendants.

As Arthur, king of the Britons, he summoned knights of the Round Table and ladies of the court of Camelot to quest the Holy Grail and to attain through initiation the inner mysteries of Christ.

Appearing again on Britain's soil as Thomas Becket as well as Thomas More, both martyred, he twice played the role of defender of the Faith and challenger of King Henry--also twice born (Henry II and VIII), and twice the oppressor.

In the sixteenth century, his soul's journey took him to the East in the person of Akbar, greatest of Mogul emperors, and in the nineteenth to Ireland to be her poet laureate Thomas Moore.

Next he appeared as El Morya Khan, perhaps the most renowned of the Tibetan mahatmas. Paradoxically, little biographical information of a traditional nature is available about El Morya Khan. It is known that he was born a Rajput prince in the Indian class of warriors and rulers esteemed for their courage and honor. The date of his birth is uncertain.

The Holy Spirit's First Ray gifts of the faith of God's will are focused through the throat chakra.

What makes the life of El Morya so notable is his far-reaching work in the merging of the ancient spiritual truths of the East with the traditions of the West. This was accomplished largely through the founding of the Theosophical Society in the latterpart of the nineteenth century and the subsequent instruction released through that organization by the Master Morya and his longtime friend, the Master Koot Hoomi Lal Singh. This instruction came in part in the form of personal letters addressed to but a handful of Theosophical students, chelas of the "Mahatma of the Himavat." These letters are now on file with the British Museum in London.

Found also within the society's literature are occasional awe-filled testimonies of the few Theosophists that were visited by this Himalayan adept who, for the most part, preferred to remain unidentified by the outer world. The writings of these disciples reveal that many strove for even the slightest contact with El Morya.

In 1898, El Morya Khan ascended to the heart of God.

During the 1920s and 1930s the Ascended Master El Morya worked with Nicholas and Helena Roerich, who set forth his writings in numerous published works. In 1958 he called Mark L. Prophet to disseminate the Teachings of the Ascended Masters asPearls of Wisdom, published by the newly founded Summit Lighthouse.

>With Saint Germain and Mother Mary, he also trained Elizabeth Clare Prophet as his Messenger. Through the embodied Messenger he delivers the Teachings of the Universal Christ for the Aquarian age and conducts retreats on practical spiritual techniques for meeting the personal and planetary challenges posed by the prophecies of Saint John's Revelation.

Saint Germain is Chohan of the Seventh Ray, the violet ray, of freedom, alchemy, justice, mercy and transmutation. He is the sponsor of the United States of America and the hierarch of the age of Aquarius, who comes bearing the gift of the violet flame for world change. He tutors and initiates souls in mastery of the seat-of-the-soul chakra, preparing them to receive the Holy Spirit's gifts of prophecy and the working of miracles.

Two of Saint Germain"s well-known embodiments were Christopher Columbus and Merlin the magician, a spiritual adept who has unfortunately been mythologized. In a series of recent embodiments from the prophet Samuel to Francis Bacon, Saint Germain was the all-pervasive mind, laying the empirical foundation for an age of enlightenment, pushing back the barriers of limitation in the physical and spiritual sciences. As Roger Bacon he directed and inspired devotees of the sacred science, then in his embodiment as Saint Germain, the Wonderman of Europe, he outpictured the quintessence of the alchemists' dream for all to see.

The Ascended Master Saint Germain teaches that the highest alchemy is the transformation of one's human consciousness into the divinity of the Higher Self. He stands ready to assist all souls in this endeavor. He has also said he would release the technology of the Aquarian age when the nations shall have put behind them the destructive uses of science and religion to accept the challenge which lies at the heart of both, which is for man to enter his heart and the nucleus of the atom and to harness from both the unlimited spiritual and physical resources to establish the golden age.

Saint Germain's gift of the violet flame is a practical spiritual tool. When used in the Science of the Spoken Word, it helps to transmute, or erase, negative thoughts and feelings
The violet flame is the essence of one of the "seven rays." Just as a ray of sunlight passing through a prism is refracted into the seven colors of the rainbow, so spiritual light manifests as seven rays. Each ray has a specific color, frequency and quality of God's consciousness. The violet ray is known as the seventh ray.
When you invoke it in the name of God, it descends as a beam of spiritual energy and bursts into a spiritual flame in your heart as the qualities of mercy, forgiveness, justice, freedom and transmutation.

Saint Germain is known as the Lord of the Seventh Ray. Each time we pray to him, he brings us many gifts of the Spirit-his joy, diplomacy and creativity. He can inspire us with his innovations in science, literature, religion, government, philosophy, education, healing, alchemy and other fields.

For almost seventy years, Saint Germain has been preparing us to enter into the age of Aquarius, an era of peace, freedom and enlightenment. He appeared to Guy Ballard in the early 1930s and gave him the first teaching on the violet flame.

Saint Germain said that after centuries of keeping the knowledge of the violet flame secret, the Masters had decided to release its use to the public during this crucial time. Saint Germain has said, "The use of the violet consuming flame is more valuable to you and to all mankind than all the wealth, all the gold and all the jewels of this planet." The violet flame works a little like soap. Soap gets dirt out of your clothes by using the positive and negative charges of atoms. It works because each of its molecules has two sides-a side that is attracted to dirt and a side that is attracted to water. The dirt-loving side attracts the dirt, like a magnet attracts paper clips when it is dragged through a box of them. The water-loving side sticks to the water, carrying the dirt with it.

When we invoke the violet flame, it sets up a polarity between the nucleus of the atom and the white-fire core of the flame. The nucleus, being matter, assumes the negative pole; the white-fire core of the violet flame, being Spirit, assumes the positive pole.

The interaction between the nucleus of the atom and the light in the violet flame establishes an oscillation. This oscillation dislodges the densities that are trapped between the electrons orbiting the nucleus. As this hardened substance that weighs down the atom is loosened, it is thrown into the violet flame and carried away.

But unlike soap, the violet flame does not simply surround and remove the debris; it transforms it into pure light-energy. Freed of this debris, the electrons begin to move more freely, thus raising our vibration and propelling us into a more spiritual state of being.

People do notice a spiritual and physical difference when they use the violet flame. But what actually happens when we repeat the words of a violet-flame decree?

I can give you two perspectives on this-the spiritual perspective as it has been revealed to me by the Ascended Masters and a scientific perspective based on recent developments in physics and medicine. Both explanations involve the concept of vibration.

In physics, vibration is the speed at which something moves back and forth, or oscillates. As I understand it, at a spiritual level vibration is also the rate of spin of the electrons as they move around the nucleus of the atom. As we will see, these definitions may not be far apart.

We each have four bodies that are envelopes of our soul: (1) the physical body, which we can see and touch; (2) the desire, or astral, body, which contains our emotions; (3) the mental body, which is our conscious mind; and (4) the etheric, or memory, body, which contains the memories of all of our past lives. The violet flame works on these four lower bodies by changing the rate of their vibration.

Saint Germain has given us the violet-flame decree:

"I AM a being of violet fire!
I AM the purity God desires!"

When you recite this and other violet-flame decrees, the violet flame permeates every cell and atom of your body, into your mind, your emotions, your subconscious and your memory.

What does the violet flame do when it permeates your atoms? The Masters have given the following explanation.

We all know that atoms are mostly empty space. If an atom were the size of a basketball, its nucleus would still be too small for our eyes to see. Yet 99.9 percent of the mass of the atom is concentrated in the nucleus, leaving the rest of that basketball as empty space, inhabited solely by electrons, which weigh very little. All that empty space between the nucleus and the edge of the atom is where discord and negative energy can become stuck.

At the cellular and molecular level, this substance appears as dust, soot, tar or even cement. The Masters have used the illustration of someone taking a pail of molten tar and pouring it over a barrel full of marbles. The space between the marbles gets gummed up by the tar running down, and soon the whole mass is welded together.

The Masters tell us that when our physical and spiritual bodies become clogged by negative energy and karma, it slows down the vibration of the electrons in our four lower bodies. We then begin to resonate more with negativity and less with the pure cosmic energy that comes from our God Presence, and eventually we can become ill. The more substance there is in our four lower bodies, the lower our rate of vibration and the more burdened we become. Spiritually, this is why people die.

If you have studied acupuncture and yoga, you know that optimum health comes when spiritual energy is flowing freely through our bodies. When karmic substance solidifies, it's like the hardening of the arteries of our spiritual bodies. When we resonate with this negativity, we will gradually become it unless we do something to turn ourselves around.

The violet fire transmutes anything negative that is lodged anywhere in your spiritual or physical being. This includes everything from kernels of self-hatred to physical viruses. When the violet flame goes to work, it passes through the clogged spaces between the electrons and the nuclei. It ejects these particles of dense substance from your body and dissolves them. This process transmutes the negative energy into positive energy and restores it to its native purity

Sanat Kumara figures in several roles in the religious traditions of the East. Each one reveals another facet of his Divine Self. In each role, he teaches us something different about God and about our path to God.

Skanda or Karttikeya

Sanat Kumara is revered in Hinduism as one of the four or seven sons of Brahma. They are portrayed as youths who have remained pure. The Sanskrit name Sanat Kumara means "always a youth."

Sanat Kumara is also known as the Ancient of Days. In the Bible, the Ancient of Days is mentioned by by the prophet Daniel in the Old Testament (Daniel 7:9, 7:13-14, 7:21-22). In Aramaic, the name Ancient of Days is Atiq yomin; in the Greek Septuagint: palaios hemeron; and in the Vulgate: Antiquus dierum.

When the apostle John wrote of the "true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world" he was describing the Son, whom he believed dwelt bodily in Jesus Christ. The Light, the Son, is also known as the Word and the Universal Christ. The Universal Christ is individualized for each one of us as our Higher Self. You can think of your Higher Self as your Inner Christ. Your Higher Self represents your potential to realize God and to become one with him.

As the apostle Paul wrote of Jesus, "in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." But there is not one incarnation of Christ. Incarnating the Christ is in reality the goal of the mystics of every religion, whether or not they express it in these terms; for all mystics seek the direct experience of and union with their Higher Self. Most of us cannot yet say that we are "the Son of God," with an uppercase S. But we can say we are sons and daughters of God, with a lowercase s and d, who are in the process of fully developing our divine potential.

The adept Kuthumi (known also as Koot Hoomi and K.H.) led an extremely secluded life, affording a public record of him that is at best somewhat fragmented. Born in the early nineteenth century, Mahatma Kuthumi was a Punjabi whose family had settled in Kashmir.

He attended Oxford University in 1850 and is believed to have contributed "The Dream of Ravan" to The Dublin University Magazine around 1854, prior to returning to his homeland.

The Kashmiri Brahman spent considerable time in Dresden, Wurzberg, Nurnberg, and at the university in Leipzig, where in 1875 he visited with Dr. Gustav Theodor Fechner, the founder of modern psychology.

His remaining years were spent at his lamasery in Shigatse, Tibet, where his contact with the outside world included didactic writings sent by mail to some of his devoted students. Those letters are now on file with the British Museum.
Formerly Chohan of the Second Ray of Divine Illumination, now serves with Jesus as World Teacher. He is the hierarch of the Cathedral of Nature, in Kashmir, India, and head of the Brothers of the Golden Robe. Kuthumi also maintains a focus at Shigatse, Tibet, where he plays sacred classical music of East and West and compositions of the heavenly hosts as well as of earth's early root races on an organ keyed to the music of the spheres, drawing souls by the sacred sound that is God out of the astral plane into the etheric retreats of the Brotherhood.

Melchizedek is an ancient cosmic being in charge of the order of Melchizedek, This brotherhood organizes the Mystery School, which holds the secrets of God, the Universe and the true history of the planet, and is working to establish heaven on Earth. Jesus was a high priest in the Order of Melchizedek. All humans belong at some level to this order.
