Ashton memorial in Lancaster is a truly inspirational wedding venue known as the "Taj Mahal" of the North It is beautiful on so many different levels, the architecture is amazing, (it makes my job as a wedding photographer very easy)

It is located in the picturesque grounds of Williamson park, and above all its local to all Lancaster couples that are getting married.
I have photographed many weddings at this venue and i always get a buzz that such an amazing building is right on my doorstep. Other photographers from around the world are always commenting on it.

The ground floor of the building is available for solemnisation of your wedding and in addition they are able to host your evening receptions in the main hall.

In terms of its history, it has an incredibly romantic story. James Williamson also known as Baron Ashton built the folly in memory of his second wife Jessy. The memorial stands 100feet high and dominates the Lancaster skyline. It can be seen from miles around. The views from the top of Ashton Memorial are outstanding
