Some of the affirmations I use Daily
I've decided to share some of the affirmations I use daily. There are so many examples available easily on the internet these days, and I really feel it is a personal thing for each of us to develop. It was really helpful to me though, to see some examples when I first started using them, because it does make a difference how you use your words.
I start all of mine with As I Am, because it feels good to me to affirm that As I Am, with what is already within me, I am able to create whatever I desire that is in alignment with my true inner self. Below is a list of the many affirmations I use for various circumstances I intend to create.
Certainly, there are many kinds of affirmations. I myself am following a path to awakening to my true inner self or spirit and the divine oneness that some call God. In the Links To other Affirmations below mine you will find a full variety, from those for good health, to happiness, to relationships, to wealth and a successful career.

Using Affirmations To Change Your Life
Affirmations really do work!
You can Google "Affirmations" and get all kinds of information about how and why they work, and I have some links below to a few sites that do just that. I just wanted to say that I highly recommend doing affirmations because they have helped me so much personally. I've only recently gotten into doing my own daily affirmations, but I do keep a daily gratitude journal and in that I have been writing affirmations for the past two years. I believe that doing so has boosted me far further ahead to this wonderful and confident place I am in now, than if I had not been writing them down.The information in the websites below will help you with wording. How you put your words together affects how your mind reacts to the thoughts and can create either very positive outcomes, or slow you down with hidden negativity. The most important thing I have found to focus on when making and using affirmations, is that when you say them or think them or write them, you gather within you the feeling you would be having if the intention were already true. Gather the love, or excitement, or happiness or gratitude you would be feeling and will be feeling when the affirmations do their work on your consciousness. There is far more power in already feeling the feeling you are wanting to create, when you do the affirmation, than if you just say it with out feeling.
There is so much to gain by giving yourself the gift of feeling good and positive about what you want in your life. Give it a try!

- Louise Hay is world renowned for her affirmations. She has a Daily affirmation on her website and many books full of affirmations.
- GEMS FOR FRIENDS
- This is a nice website, as it gives a daily affirmation and then talks about affirmations and how they can work for you in your life.
- VITAL AFFIRMATIONS
- This site has a link on the left for affirmation cards, that you can click on and recieve great affirmnations.
- AFFIRMATIONS FOR A HEALTHY LIFE
- This was another very nice site, describe how affirmations work and giving examples for various circumstances in your life
- FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE
- This website isn't about affirmations per say, but what this woman shares can be very affirming in your life. I went to see her with my younger brother and spent three and a half hours with her. She talks to dead people and we have many in our family. Our conversation with her and our family in spirit was affirming in so many ways. Whether you are just curious or need some healing around the loss of a loved one, Sheri is genuine and she can help you.
Books on Affirmations
There are some really great affirmations books and cd's out there to help you along.
I have an Affirmation section in my online book store: WAKEROBIN BOOKSHOP.I created this bookstore to make easily available books and resources which I have read or that come highly recommended. Check out the Affirmation section and some of the others; Law of Attraction, Quantum Physics, Healing and Mystical for example. I have read many of these very helpful books and listened to a number of the great cd's along my way to 'waking up'.
Opening up song
This is a song to help open you to your inner spirit
I learned the first verse to this song many years ago at the Michigan Women's Music Festival from a woman I worked with. It was very sweet because we would act out the song in a sort of sign language. I have now added verses and I sing it to myself as a way to help me open to my inner self and true spirit. I can't really give you the melody in writing, but I don't think that matters so much as the thoughts. Find a melody that sounds good to you. I sing this repeatedly, and it really makes my heart really feel good.THE ORIGINAL VERSE:
