Dolls with Asian Features Are Hard To Find.

Asian Dolls with definitive Asian features are hard to find. Most people settle for dolls that are mass produced and look almost Asian. Rarely do you find Asian dolls that children of all ages can enjoy.

A Doll For All Ages

Cloth dolls have been very popular because they are suitable for children of all ages. Young children can play with cloth dolls. While adults can collect cloth dolls and put them on display.

Handmade Asian Cloth Dolls

Each cloth doll is handmade made by skilled workers who have been trained in the art of making cloth dolls. Creating a handmade cloth doll can take time but it ensures that each doll is a unique one of a kind creation. Using only the finest quality cloth, each doll adorns their native dresses. Yarn is braided into a bun for the hair while the face is embroidered and shoes made from vinyl complete each doll.

Similar But Not Identical

Each doll is similar in appearance and dress but not identical. There will always be variation in the look of each doll due to the nature of dolls crafted by hand. These dolls have been our best sellers at craft fairs so we created these dolls in limited quantities. Each doll comes in one size, 20 inches tall.

Types of Asian Dolls

Chinese dolls wear cheongsams as a costume. They are also created or painted with eyes befitting a Chinese national and and small pouty lips to create that authentic Chinese feature.

For Japanese dolls, they wears Kimonos and resemble poses in a Japanese theater like the Kabuki.

The Hanbok or the traditional Korean costume is worn by the Korean doll. Colorful and vibrant layers of cloth is featured by the Korean doll.

Vietnamese dolls wear the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai costumes, with the satiny silk material.

The Filipina dolls (Female Filipino) may wear a Mestiza or a Terno as both are Filipino national costumes, are worn by Filipino dolls. The Terno is designed with colorful butterfly-sleeved long gown inspired by former First Lady Imelda Marcos while the Mestiza is modeled after the Hispanic Maria Clara costume.
