Asian Makeup Tips
So many women with Asian heritage are living as minorities in Western countries, and are having a terrible time finding products and Asian makeup online tips for looking their very best. Some girls are resorting to importing expensive cosmetics from Japan and China in order to match their skin tones and find flattering colors. Fortunately, I am here to tell you that spending a ton on Asian makeup is completely unnecessary - with a few simple tips, you will be looking stunning.
Asian Makeup - Foundation
Tips on applying foundation makeup properly
Foundation is the most important makeup you wear on your face, because it goes everywhere, and you want it to look as natural as possible. You'll need to do some thorough searching to find a light liquid foundation with golden undertones - most white girls have warm undertones, like orange and pink, so that's what most foundations in North America and Europe will be based on. You need a foundation with cool tones to start out with, but most Asian girls don't need it to be very heavy. Eye Makeup for Asians
What colors look best on Asian skintones
If you're Asian, you probably have dark eyes and dark hair, so it's understandable that you might want to put lighter colors on your eyelids and around your eyes - but that's exactly the wrong approach. You'll look fake and juvenile if you use colors that are too light on your eyes, but on the other hand, dark jewel colors like ruby red, dark purple, and dark emerald green will look more stunning on your face than they would on any other woman. Most Asian women lack the second eyelid fold so prominent on women of other ethnicities, but for the most part, I would advise working with what you have. Drawing on a second eyelid is a very time-consuming process to do well, involving about six different shades of eyeshadow and a steady hand to get your eyes looking anything like you want them to. Instead, line your eyes with thin, dark eyeliner and shade one main, jewel color onto your eyelids. Don't have too many colors on small eyelids - keep it simple.

Asian Makeup Tips for Eyes
Recommended techniques for Asian women
Too much eyeliner can make eyes look smaller, so I would usually advise leaving off of the eyeliner on the bottom lash line. Dot a bit of a light, shimmery color on the inside corner of each eye to make your eyes stand out a little more.Mascara and a good eyelash curler, however, are the two absolute best things you can do to make your eyes look even more amazing. Most Asian girls' eyelashes are like their hair - thin and perfectly straight. To combat this, you need two layers of a high quality, volumizing mascara, then comb out the clumps with an eyelash brush to keep the look natural and not caked-out.
An eyelash curler can make all the difference in the world for making your eyes look gorgeous - some girls even heat theirs up with a blow dryer first to make the curling more effective. Most Asian girls' eyelashes stick straight out, not up at all, so you may need three or so sweeps with the eyelash curler, gradually pushing them more and more upward, to get the look you want. I promise you though, the results will be worth it.
