Hello,

My name is Kent Nord and I currently live in Wasilla, Alaska and I love network marketing because I get to meet so many people. I operate a home-based business and help mentor others in their success. I am originally from Stillwater, Minnesota and moved to Osceola, WI in 1988. I lived in Osceola until moving to Alaska in 1998.

After graduating from Stillwater High School in 1976. I started working with my brother in his company where we designed and built high speed material handling equipment for the food and beverage industry. With this company I was a jack-of-all-trades doing the accounting, application engineering, design engineering, electrical engineering, PLC Logistics programming and also traveling as a startup technician for most of the equipment we built from 1978 to 1998.

During the 20 years with the company I traveled to all 50 states except Hawaii, South America, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Canada doing equipment startups. During these travels I was exposed to a lot of different cultures and lifestyles. I learned a lot from the people I associated with and how to communicate ideas and concepts visually because of the communication barriers in the foreign countries.

From planning plant expansions or improvements with the presidents of these plants to teaching a new operator how their equipment was operated and functioned, I found that a person is truly no different as an individual regardless of their position in life. I discovered that an individual is to be respected for who they are because they are an individual person from the rest of us with their own dreams.

In 1998 we built some of the equipment for a water bottling plant in Alaska. The company offered me a job as the assistant manager and I liked Alaska, so I moved to Alaska. Since moving to Alaska I have been in middle management running a bottling plant to being an accounting manager in my last job. I was tired of working for someone else and have moved into full time network marketing by developing a residual income.
