My goofy and loving best friend...My dog Bedford

I'd like to tell you a little bit about my Chocolate Labrador named Bedford. He is 7 years old and is somewhat overweight. He is on a diet and doing pretty good at it. I've had Labradors since I was a little boy so I know there little quirks and moods very, very well. Bedford is the most melancoly Lab I've ever had. He is quite lazy and loves to lay in the bed with all four feet sticking up in the air and teeth showing because he's too lazy to hold his mouth closed.
Bedford is a very loving dog. He is not one to run and jump around when he first sees you however because he's just too lazy to do that. His greeting is a huge smile. Yes, a smile. When I step out of the truck after getting home I'll say "Heeeeey, Bed-Bed" and up goes his lips with all his teeth showing. Its hilarious. I haven't been able to get a picture of that exact moment but I'm working on it.
After spending a little time with Bedford your first thoughts would be that he's depressed. Thats far from the reality though. Like I said...Hes very melancholy and just likes to lay around and do absolutely nothing when he's in the house. I have two other Chocolate Labs as well. He loves to go on his "walkabouts" with them. We have a large farm so they have alot of room to roam. Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures of Bedford and my other dogs. Be sure to check them out. There are some really good ones.
